Hi, am arriving in TB at 0640 on SIA and depart for Montreal on AC at 0940. Do I have enough time to collect bags, clear customs and immigration and recheck in at T6 (from May think AC is moving ot T6). Which is the fastest way to walk between terminals.Thank you.
Yes, that should be enough time. The Fastest way is to just walk along the curbfront.
Thanks. Btw is there a walking connector from TB to T4 then to T6. Appreciate directions for the shortest walking route as got to run for our connecting flight.
Is 5 1/2 hours enough time to go outside and have a smoke ? Iv never been to this airport I can imaging security lines are long
Yes, that should be enough time. Every terminal is different.
I arrive in LAX via Alaska Air at 6:55 am on a Sunday and leave on Hawaiian at 9:00. I will have to claim bags and recheck, will this be sufficient time?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will have to run across the airport from Terminal 6 where you arrive to Terminal 2 where you depart.
We are flying in from Tokyo (Delta Busines Class) with a four hour layover before flying out on Southwest. Is there anywhere to shower and frreshen (after the 11 hour flight) up during the wait.
No, there is not.
Can we then use our business class ticket to use the Delta Lounge or pay the $59 to use the shower in the Delta Lounge. (terminal 6) That would be OK too?? What terminal is Customs and Immigration and can we walk from Customs to Delta Lounge.
You will arrive in Terminal 5 and go through US Immigration, Customs, and security. However, when you arrive, you will go straight to US Immigration and Customs and claim your bags, at which point you will be outside security. The Lounge is inside security. You have to go to Terminal 1 to re-check your bags and you won't be able to go through security in Terminal 5.
We fly Van to Seattle, then LAX - stopover 00:30 to 8:15 am on our way to San Jose, CR. Is the VIP lounge closed at this time? What can we do? 2 teenage daughters in tow. Don't really want to leave the airport but might be open to options- plse help
arrive la midday sunday, fly out midnight monday, cannot drive, what to do and where to stay
Stay in downtown Santa Monica. It's a short taxi ride away and there's enough stuff to do in downtown Santa Monica that you can walk to.
Hi, I am flight from London to las vegas but connecting via LAX I have a 4 hour stop over can I leave the airport for a cigarette as I would of been on a 11hour flight, then when re dosed on nicotine go back through for my connecting flight ? Hope someone can help me with this
You will be outside security once you clear US Customs, so yes, as long as you are on-time, then yes, you can step outisde for a cigarette.
Hi all,
I'm flying ASE - LAX - LHR on UA soon with a 8h layover in LAX. I have a German passport and as I'm leaving the US I assume I don't have to collect my luggage, correct?

My second question - What can I do in 8h (during the day) in LAX? Any suggestions or tips?
Cheers
No, you do not have to collect your bags in LAX.
Hi,

We have 22 hours and 15 minutes Lay Over in LA from New York to Christchurch, New Zealand.

We are going to arrive LAX at 12.50 midnight and depart for New Zealand at 10.05PM the same day. We are planning to stay in a hotel (10 min drive from LAX) when we arrive by midnight, sleep and will start the day at 8AM to take Hop On Hop Off Tour Bus (2-3hrs). We are going to take only one route out of the four routes to save time. Do we have enough time? Thanks.
WE ARE ARRIVING ON DELTA FLIGHT # 5788 ON DEC 30TH AT 4:20PM. FLIGHTING OUT ON DELTA FLIGHT #1298 AT 4:55PM TO KONA, HI. HUSBAND HAS A BAD HIP, CAN'T WALK TO FAST. IS 35 MIN ENOUGH TIME. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
It's possible - you can walk between all Delta gates in LAX, but it doesn't leave much time to spare. You could request wheelchair assitance but that may actually be slower since you probably won't actually have to walk very far.
