    Jun 30, 2015
Hi, I will arrive TBIT at 11:55am from Narita, Tokyo. Then I have to catch next flight to Miam at 14:00 AA Terminal 4. Will I have enough time to catch this flight? Thank you for your reply.

That is just barely enough time.

Thank you very much. Have a nice day.

  • I want to Terminal 7 Terminal 8 am, and from there moved to become boa
    Jun 6, 2015
help me for find my air line and termial

What airline are you flying? You became a boa? Terminal 7 and 8 share an entrance.

hellp me for To find the terminal 7, gate and my flight

Terminal 7 is the last terminal you come to as you circle around World Way to all the Terminals. It is well marked with many United Airlines signs. I don't really understand your problem.

  • 40 minutes to change planes
    Jun 4, 2015
Hi, I have to change planes in LA coming from Honolulu to Chicago. I will land at 11:13am and the other plane departs at 11:55am. Is that possible? Both flights are with american airlines. And what would happen if I would miss the second flight because the first one is delayed? Would they give me another flight later?

Yes, that should be enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 4. If you miss your connection because your first flight is late they will put you on the first available flight to Chicago.

  • Bogota to sydney
    Jun 1, 2015
Hey, I'm catching a flight from Bogota,Colombia to Sydney,Australia. My flight with Avianca will arrive in Terminal 2 and my Departure with United Airlines will be in Terminal 7. Do you think 2 hours and 5 mins is enough time? Appreciate the HELP!!!!

That is barely enough time if your first flight is on-time and you run.

  • 9 hour layover
    May 10, 2015
Any suggestions on things to do while having a 9 hour layover in LAX?

Take a taxi to the Santa Monica Pier. It's only about 15-20 minutes away from LAX and a good place to kill time.

Thanks! What do people normally do with their luggage. I think I can only check it in up to 4 hours before. Is there a locker area or anything?

No, you have to bring it with you.

  • Is 54 minutes enough time to connect?
    Apr 30, 2015
One nicely priced option has us arriving at LAX from New Orleans on Delta with just 54 minutes before our connecting flight to Brisbane on Virgin Australia. Is this enough time to connect if our bags are checked all the way through? The only other option is an 8-hour layover at LAX.

You will have to walk from T5 to the International Terminal and go through security. it's barely enough time if your flight from New Orleans is on-time.

  • place to sit while waiting for next flight next morning
    Apr 28, 2015
I will be arriving LAX in the late afternoon and hope to rest in the airport for my next flight out next morning. Could you a advice where in the airport is suitable for alone traveler.

Honestly, get a hotel if you're going to be there that long. LAX is a crowded airport that won't allow you to get much if any rest. There's lots of hotels very close to LAX with shuttles.

  • Layouver in LAX to LAS
    Mar 14, 2015
Coming from Dubai on Emirates airlines arriving to LAX at 13:55. I have a connecting flight with American Airlines to LAS at 16:40. Do I have enough time and what is the best way to get to AA terminal (Terminal 6)?

AA does not use Terminal 6. They use Terminal 4. That is enough time barely. Just walk from the International Terminal to Terminal 4.

  • 9 hour layover with kids
    Feb 20, 2015
I have pre teens and toddler in our group. We have a 9 hour layover in LAX from 6 am to 3 pm. Some of that time we will be retrieving bags and re checking in bags from one airline to another. For the rest of the time, what can you recommend for us to do? Shops, food in LAX, leave, stay, etc. Thanks

  • Stopover 35 mins
    Feb 21, 2015
Hi, I am flying to London Heathrow from SFO and have a stopover for 35 mins only in LA. Is there enough time for me to get my connecting flight, if the flight from SFO is on time? Thanks.

What airline or Airlines are you flying?

Both flights are Virgin Atlantic. I know the connection flight departs from terminal 5, but I do not know what terminal the flight from SFO will land in LA. Thanks,

  • 5 Hour Layover in LAX
    Feb 12, 2015
I am arriving at Tom Bradley terminal at 6:30am and will need to transfer to terminal 2 for a connection at 2:45pm I will need to collect my bag at Tom Bradley is this after immigration and security as this terminal seems the best to spend most of my layover hours

You collect your bag after you go through US Immigration but before you go through US Customs, then if you bought two separate tickets and your bags aren't tagged through to your final destination, you will exit to the left out of the customs area, If your bags are tagged to your final destination, you can re-check them at the re-check desk in the TBIT by following the signs for connecting passengers.

  • Tom Bradley terminal, can I get outside to smoke when in transit
    Feb 11, 2015
Hi there, I'm flying AKL/LAX/LHR on Air NZ (checked right through) with a 2 hour transit in the Tom Bradley terminal. Will I be confined to the business class lounge or can I escape for a smoke or two? Thank you, Ann

Yes, you will be confined to the lounge. That's the only way you can do this flight without going through US Immigration and Customs.

Thank you. Might have to do an overnight stopover. Cheers Ann

  • Will One Hour between flights be enough time to smoke
    Jan 13, 2015
We are flying Delta, and will be in LAX one hour between flights. I see that Delta's terminal is 5 and their is smoking outside of Terminal 7. Will there be enough time to smoke and make our connecting flight?

If your first flight is on-time and you run, maybe. You probably don't have to go all the way to T7 though, you could probably go to the parking garage right across the street and smoke.

  • Is this enough time
    Dec 18, 2014
Hello. Wondering if a layover of 2.05 hours will be enough at LAX. Arriving from Narita on Singapore Air @ 1:25pm connecting on a Southwest flight to STL at 3:30pm. We are 5 traveling with most likely 4-5 check bags. I am an Southwest A list member so should be able to skip any long security and check bags lines and be able to board early on Southwest. Thank you.

That should barely be enough time. You will have to hope that your first flight is on-time and hurry with your bags to T1 in order to get your bags to the counter before the cutoff.

  • LayOver 12 Hours
    Nov 19, 2014
Question, Flying (AA) POS-MIA-LAX-KONA (Lax layover is 12hours) 1) Will I have to re-check my bag for LAX-KOA flight which 8:45 am next morning? 2) Will I have to pay any fees for checked bag (US25.00)

Ask the AA agent in POS if they can tag your bag through to KOA. If they can then you won't claim it in LAX. Otherwise you will have to claim it and recheck it in the morning and pay the fee.
