  • Flying with SWA but would like to visit the Virgin America Lounge

I have a Priority Pass and would like to hang out at the Virgin America Lounge during my 4 hr layover in LAX. Can I go thru TSA with my SWA boarding pass to a terminal other than Terminal 1? Would they let me?

It depends on the agents. Usually you can as long as you have a boarding pass for departure that day.

  • Admiral's Club - worth it?

I have a 2 hour connection at LAX tomorrow (coming in from T2, leaving from T4). Flight out from LAX is a later one. Would it be worth it to buy a pass to the AA Admiral's Club?

Probably not, considering it will take you about 40 minutes to get from T2 to T4 and through security, and that you should leave the club 30 minutes before your flight, you would only be in the club about 45-50 minutes.

  • Food and drink available without going through security

Is there anywhere on the arrivals level of any of T's 6,5,4, or TBIT that sells soft drinks? The starbucks I found in T5 didn't have soft drinks.

The TBIT lobby just has one level - you could walk into the food court in the TBIT.

    Thanks again ZAP!

Is the foodcourt in TBIT on the departures or arrivals level?

Just as ZAP said there is a food court with a variety of restaurants, and stores on the arrivals level of TBIT. It's a great place to pick up something if you aren't ready to go through security for your flight!

STAY AWAY !!! 20 people in line, and the female English-second-language order taker was hacking and coughing, saying that there was a 30 minute wait for a burger...the price for one was $11.00!!! All 20 people left angry. Unfortunately, this was the only fast-food place in this part of the airport. I expect them to go out of business soon.

I was very disappointed with the mushroom cheese burger! The burger was burnt so bad I could not eat it! They were messing up orders as well.

  • Where to meet travelers with a layover

Hi. I'm meeting a friend with a three-hour layover at LAX. Are there eating options that don't require going through security screening since I'm not traveling and therefore not a ticketed passenger?

The international terminal has a food court outside security.

I would suggest you meet up in the Arrivals Hall - in front of the information counter & find out which options are available. Food courts are in all of the terminals on the arrivals level, while most restaurants are within the secured areas of LAX's 9 terminals.

Actually, the food court in the International Terminal is on the departures level.

Bad food! 24 dollars for a flavor less quiche, a bad dessert and a coffee I thought it would be good when I saw Arnold's palmer name.
