Is a 2 hour layover enough time at LAX airport to go from International flight to domestic? I know we need to go through customs, then security and then to another terminal. Thanks!
If everything is on the same reservation that should be just enough time.
I have one hour 45 minute connection time. Do I need to walk my bags to terminal 6 to recheck? Or is there a re check bags in the international terminal
If it's one reservation you can re-check your bags in the International Terminal. If it's two separate reservations you will have to take your bags to T6 to re-check them.
I will be travelling to LAX (enroute to Las Vegas) on Thursday 3rd May 2018, flying with Qantas (QF 93 - arrival time is estimated as being 6.30 am). Wanting to know if it there would be enough time to get a connecting flight (via American Airlines - AA 2613) at 8.20 am. Many thanks.
If it's all one reservation that's just enough time. If it's two separate reservations that's not enough time.
Yes it will be booked all on the one reservation, many thanks.

Hi I'm going back home from SFO to London Heathrow connecting at LAX at 5.48pm in Terminal 5. Departure from LAX 19.55pm terminal 0.
Will I have to go out of security clearance to transfer? Will I need to claim my bagage? Is it enough time?
There is no "Terminal 0" at LAX. What airlines are you flying? Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
I'm flying with American Airlines I just checked the e-ticket again it's written terminal 0. My second flight number is AA136.
It is the same reservation, just connecting flights.
You depart from Terminal 4 or 5. AA uses "0" when they don't know the exact terminal.
Also, you should have enough time.
Thanks a lot
Hi I'm coming to LAX from Beijing At 9am and transferring from TBIT to a flight to Cancun at 11.50am in Terminal 3. Will I have to go out of security clearance to transfer? And check in again? I just want to make sure I have time.
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags with the second airline and go through security. What airline are you flying to Cancun?
Thanks so much, it's gonna be Detla to Cancun
How far is the walk?
About 20 minutes walk. You will then have to go through security again in Terminal 5.
Is the connection in LAX doable? Or what could be the best way to meet the connection since this is already ticketed?
AA 170 15SEP 5 NRTLAX 1725 1130
AA1307 15SEP 5 LAXORD 1327 1944
Yes, that should be possible if everything goes smoothly.
I have an hour and 45 mins layover in LA. Wondering whether that's enough time to get to my next gate and whether I'd need to switch terminals? I've never been to
LA lol yikes.
What airlines are you flying? Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
flying in from Aukland NZ at 6:35 am, departing at 8:28 am and plan on bringing just a carry on bag. Is this enough time to clear customs? Thank you!
What airlines?
Friends, I need help. I travel on Saturday in a single reservation from Vancouver - Canada with final destination Chile. My first connection in LAX is to terminal 6 at 12:05 and my flight out of TBIT is at 14:05. I carry hand luggage and hold luggage. According to Air Canada from Vancouver, I should no longer pick up suitcases, but I understand that in the USA, all international connections require this process.
As I have only 2 hours I would like to make better use of time so I have some doubts:
-I travel from Canada with ESTA, I must do immigration through the window or machines, I go with a baby and an old man, can I save the line?
- Is it faster to cross the tunnel terminals on foot or take the bus?
- When doing it in tunnel, I must go through TSA again in TBIT

Thank you for your advices
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver, so all you have to do in LAX is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Use the Tunnels and connector building, you won't have to go through security.
