Flying Delta: Denver to LAX arriving 7:09PM. Departing Philipines Airlines at 9:50pm. Only carryon luggage. Will 2.5 hours be enough to check in? Can I use Delta's inside security route to TBIT? If yes, how do I do that?
ZAP1 hr ago
Yes, that should be enough time. I believe you will have to exit security to get your Philippine Airlines boarding pass, but if you are able to get it online, then yes, you could use the Delta shuttle bus.
We are traveling from SFO to LAX via Alaska Airline at 7:20am. We then have a flight to Japan via Singapore Airline from 9:00am. This gives us only 1hr 40 mins to make it to our connecting Singapore flight.
We want to check in our bags but since we did not purchase our connecting flights together, we would have to go out to baggage claim to retrieve our bags and then go through security again. We do have Global Entry so we were hoping if we used that we would be able to go through security much faster and make it in time for our flight. Do you think we would have enough time to get bags from baggage claim and go through security again and make it to our flight? Thank you!
It would be very difficult to make this on-time. Everything would have to go perfectly for you to make it to the Singapore check-in desk with your bags before the bag check cutoff.
Arriving LAX from DEN on Delta airline terminal 2 @ 10:05 pm departing Virgin Australia terminal B @ 11:20 pm traveling premium economy - is this enough time? Also is there transportation or access between terminal 2 and terminal B within security? Thanks
Added note - this connection is on the same itinerary
Delta runs a shuttle inside security from T2 to the International Terminal. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Arriving via Alaska Air to connect within 2 hours to Latam Chile. Can I take a Connector from T6 and stay within the secured area to avoid the horrendous security lines at Bradley if I have to exit T6 and reenter the Intl Terminal from streetwise? I was just at LAX and the security line was the entire second floor at the Bradley terminal and took 50 minutes!!!
If both flights are on the same reservation then yes, you can take the tunnels to T4 and then the connector building to the TBIT inside security.
Hello, Wondering if this connection will be too tight: - Landing at Terminal B from Tahiti on Air France at 18:35 - Checked baggage - Canadian citizens with GlobalEntry/TSAPreCheck - Departing from Terminal 6 on Air Canada at 20:55 - Separate booking reservations
Thanks in advance!
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am coming in on Fiji Air, have AA domestic connection (these are separate bookings) 2 hours later. I am Global Entry/TSA PreCheck. Is Fiji Baggage claim in TBIT? Will be headed to Terminal 4/5 for AA domestic. Haven't been through LAX in years. Any tips on getting from baggage in TBIT to Terminal 4/5.
Yes, Fiji Airways' baggage claim is in the regular TBIT International baggage claim hall. T4/5 is right next to the TBIT so just go outside and carry them there. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi - is 2 hours enough time to get from T6 > Tom Brady International with bags?
We're flying into T6 with Virgin America from Las Vegas, arriving at 16:17. Then need to catch the 18:20 Norwegian Air flight to London Gatwick from Tom Brady. We're British incase that makes it longer to get through security.
We had an extra 30 mins but our flight home has been moved since booking flights so we depart sooner than I wanted now! :(
That's just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Not ideal though as things rarely do go perfectly in airport land! Do you know whether we will need to go through security again or if we can use the terminal tunnels between 6 and Intl? The tickets are booked separately due to FF points.
Because you can't thru check bags to Norwegian from any airline, you would have to exit security regardless to go to their counter. If you're close on time [I think Norwegian has a 60 min prior deadline to check bags] I would get a cart and push the bags on the sidewalk from 6 to Bradley rather than risk how long a connecting bus might take to make it's way around LAX in potentially congested traffic.
Hi there. I am flying on DL from Syd to YVR via LAX When they were booked the flights were both using T3 and I had 2 1/2 hours to make the connection. Now they have changed to flying into T 2 and out of T3 with a 1 hour 50 min connection. How easy is it to get between the two? Are queues traditionally long at approx 745am ? Delta won't let me change the flight to a later one for free as 'it's still a legal connection' :(
You will actually arrive in the International Terminal. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
