Hi I'm flying virgin America from Newark landing in lax at 7.20pm and fly out air New Zealand to Auckland at 9.55pm What is the fastest way to get between terminals? I have priority baggage and check in etc. Does that help?

You arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from the International Terminal - they're right next to each other, just walk. You should have enough time.

Hi! I'm flying in to LAX from Singapore and arrive in Terminal B at 6plus am - is Terminal B TBIT? My connecting flight is at 10plus am on Southwest at T1. After I clear customs at Terminal B, can I re-check bags at same terminal or do I have to go to T1 to check in my bags? Thanks!

Yes, B and the TBIT are the same thing. You will have to take your bags with you to Terminal 1 to re-check them with Southwest.

I am arriving at LAX at 10:00pm on 12/15/16 from Orlando on Delta. My flight to SYD leave at 11:15pm. Is 1:15 enough time to make it through to my flight? Everything is on the same reservation.

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Hey there! I'm just wondering if 2 hours and 30 minutes enough connecting time in lax? I'm arriving on delta and leaving on Philippine airlines, I still have to get my bag in lax since they're booked separately

That should be just enough time if your Delta flight is on-time.

Hi there. I have another flight option which would see me arriving from Charlotte into LAX at 10:30 on the 13th Jan. Then the departing flight to Auckland is not until 23:10. This is all with American Airlines. Am I allowed to exit the airport in between flights to have a look around LA?

Yes, you are allowed to exit the airport and come back before your flight.

Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I have connecting from UA from chicago then LAX to Hawaii....how to get into HA terminal from terminal 7?...

The fastest way is to walk straight across the parking garages from Terminal 7 to Terminal 2.

Do i have to go through tsa again? Do u think 2 hours layover is enough?

Yes, you will have to go through security again. Yes, that should be enough time if the United flight is on-time.

Arriving on a separate booking on United (probably, not booked yet). Need to catch international flight out of TBIT later in the day. no luggage. Questions: Is it possible to remain inside airport/security and check in for China Air flight? do they have a way I can check in at the Gate since I am already inside the airport? I don't mind having to go through security again, I am just concerned about exiting the safety of being inside the airport.

For the above, airport is LAX.

There is no "China Air". Are you flying "Air China" or "China Airlines"? They're different. It really depends when you arrive. You will likely have to leave the secure area to check in at the check-in desk at the TBIT.

Sorry about that. It's China Airlines. So it is United (Terminal 7 or 8?) and then China Airlines to Asia. Never traveled internationally. China Airlines' site says they have online check in, but not sure if this allows gate check in with home-printed boarding pass like domestic flights I have been on (since I presume they need to check my Passport). And thanks for your help by the way! Anyway, I was hoping to be able to use the tunnels and am leery about leaving what I believe to be the safe(r) zone.

We are arriving at LAX terminal 5 at 10:14 pm on Delta and have a connecting flight on Air France at 11:55 pm from Terminal B. Is this a long enough layover and do we have to claim our bags and check them again?

If both flights are on the same reservation and your flight from Detroit is on-time that is enough time. You don't have to claim your bags in LAX if both flights are on the same reservation. It is now possible to go from T5 to the International Terminal inside security using pedestrian tunnels and the new connector building.

I want to book a flight with following details. Will this time be enough to transit. I won't have to check-in luggage again PHX - LAX via American Airlnes - reaching @ 3:14 PM (not sure of terminal) LAX - Abu Dhabi - departing 04:50 PM from terminal B A total transit time of 01:36 hrs. Is it enough?

You will arrive in Terminal 6. You can now walk from Terminal 6 all the way to the International Terminal without exiting security. You have enough time if the flight from Phoenix is on-time.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. if you check in online for your United flight you can go directly to your United gate in LAX.

Hi How much time do I need from delta arrival from Columbus 9:25 am Next flight is on American to Maui at 10:50am Need to re- check luggage also Thanks

That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. I'd really try to do it without checked bags - that way you could go directly from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
