Is 1 hour long enough to switch from Alaska's terminal 6 to Virgin America's terminal 3? We arrive at 8:44 and the virgin America flight leaves at 9:45, thats only 1 hour and im getting stressed now because of it
Both airlines now use Terminal 6. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hello, I just wanted to double check that I do not need to be rescreened (i.e., go through security again) when travelling from T6 to TB.
I bought two separate tickets, one leaving Vancouver, Canada to LAX landing at 9:13 pm and one leaving LAX to Nadi, Fiji at 11:30 PM. My understanding is that there is a direct airside path from T6 to TB that takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk. I just want to double check that since it is two seperate tickets and I am arriving from Canada, that I dont need to exit airside to go through security again. I will only have carry on bags with me.
Yes there is such a path. However, you will need to stop at the Fiji Airways desk for them to issue your boarding pass. They may not be able to do that at the gate desk. You do have enough time to leave security and get your boarding pass from the check-in desk.
i will arrive to lax terminal B in avianca´s flight from bogota arriving at 20:20 and will leave lax to melbourne in united flight T7 at 22:45. its enought time ? where can i resend luggage after customs? thank you!!!
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? If it's all one reservation then you can re-check your bags at the re-check desk after clearing customs, otherwise you will have to take your bags to T7 to re-check them. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I'm going to travel the day September 04/2017 leaving Tucson, Az to San Francisco, CAL. making scale in Los Angeles, Cal. And I would like to know the distance between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Thank you
Terminals 2 and 3 are right next to each other. If you have to change between them Delta runs a shuttle bus inside security between them.
Heres a map for ya bud http://www.lawa.org/uploadedFiles/LAX/pdf/LAX_Airline_Location_Map_10_05_2010.pdf
We arrive into LAX (TBIT) on a Virgin flight from Australia. We are yet to book our connecting flight to NYC, and just wondering how long to leave in between flights?
At least 3 hours.
Thank you ZAP!
We are looking at booking a Delta flight at 12:15 (3hrs, 15 minutes after we arrive (if our flight is on time). So we will need to transfer via security etc from TBIT to T2 (or T3). Is this process straight forward? Is there a shuttle, or better/quick to walk?
Hi, I was just have a question. My daughter is flying from Charlotte to Brisbane on American/Qantas. She lands at 8pm at terminal 5 and her flight to Australia leaves at 1120pm and leaves from terminal B. I was wondering several things. 1. does she have to go back thru screening? 2. is there a quick way to terminal B. 3. is there a shuttle that will go thru from her gate to the other as it was a connecting flight thru qantas that was booked. Basically I am wondering since she has not flown before what can I do to ensure it is easy for her. thanks George
No, she doesn't have to go through security. There is a walkway from T5 through T4 and then to the International Terminal (B). She doesn't need to use any shuttle. All she has to do on the way to Brisbane is go from her arrival gate to her departure gate.
We come from HK (CX884) and arrive LAX at 1110, and will transfer to Lima by Lan airlines LA2477 1355. The same terminal arrival and departure. Two tickets, but i suppose CX will help us to check through the baggage to Lima and will give us the Lan boarding pass (one world). Right?
Do we have enough time??
Cathay may not be able to issue your LATAM boarding pass, especially because it's two separate reservations. You will also still have to claim your bags in LAX to bring them through US Customs, even if you can get them tagged through to LIM. This is a somewhat risky connection.
