2 hours to change terminalsAug 26, 201110Hi, I am travelling into LAX on 23 September on VA007 arriving at 6.25am (arrives Terminal B) and connecting with DL106 departing 8.30am (departs Terminal 5). Do I have enough time to pick up luggage, go through customs and security checks and change terminals? Your hasty assistance would be very appreciated. KerryKSTANGERposted on Thu, Aug 25I think so. Hopefully you have properly tagged your baggage as through baggage arriving safely at your end destination. Don't forget to re-check-in you luggage after customs clearance. Then walk out of the terminal to the left and walk quickly to Terminal 5 (the third terminal after T8. T8 to T7Aug 24, 201110We are connecting through LAX with a 40 minute layover so I have two questions. Do you think it is possible to make it over to T7 in that amount of time and, once there, will we have to go through security again? long time between flights at LAXAug 20, 201120HI, I'll be arriving at LAX at 10am from Melbourne Australia, but not leaving for Atlanta until 10 pm same day. I'm hoping to be able to book my luggage into the Atlanta (Air Trans) flight in the morning, then take a day trip into LA city. We thought that we would enjoy a nice afternoon wheeling throught the airport enjoying some wine and food and shot at Duty Free. HOWEVER, the LAX staff would not allow a person in a wheelchair through duty free and then confiscated the wheelchair leaving us stranded in the restaurant!!!! Flight ConnectionsAug 1, 201110I am booking a flight from DFW to SYD via LAX. I arrive LAX T4 8:50pm and leave LAX TB at 10:20pm. Is this doable or to tight time wise?Fredposted on Mon, Aug 1The terminals are arranged in a U-shape, wit TB (TBIT) in the curve and T4 at left. Make sure you have your bags pretagged to SYD at DFW. All you need to do is exit T4, turn left and walk over to TBIT. (the bus (LAX Bus A) option would give you not enough time as it runs only every 12-15 mins from T4-T8, on to T1 to T3 & back to TBIT.
