TBIT to terminal 4Aug 25, 201140I,ll be landing at TBIT at 9pm and my connecting flight will be at terminal 4 at 10.25pm. Will I have enough time to catch this flight? I do not have a check in luggage and only have a carry on bag.kahunaposted on Tue, Aug 2[ Reply ][ Like ]I presume you arrive from an international flight at TBIT, in which case you need to go first through customs clearance, exit the terminal and you will see to your right Terminal 4. You can either walk to it or wait for the bus which arrives every 12-15 minutes. (its on the lower arrival level island in front of the terminal under sign "LAX shuttle airline connection".1039posted on Wed, Aug 3What if I land at LAX at 11am and next flight departs at T4 at 1pm, with luggage checked in, is there enough time?FLposted on Tue, Aug 9What if I arrive 11am at TBIT and connecting flight at 1pm at T4, if luggage checked in, will I have enough time?FLposted on Tue, Aug 9My mother and I requested a wheelchair to make our way through LAX. We thought that we would enjoy a nice afternoon wheeling throught the airport enjoying some wine and food and shot at Duty Free. HOWEVER, the LAX staff would not allow a person in a wheelchair through duty free and then confiscated the wheelchair leaving us stranded in the restaurant!!!! I'm stunned at how useless the customer service has been and how ignorant they are to accessibility issues!Canadianposted on Thu, Aug 25

Flight ConnectionsAug 1, 201110I am booking a flight from DFW to SYD via LAX. I arrive LAX T4 8:50pm and leave LAX TB at 10:20pm. Is this doable or to tight time wise?Fredposted on Mon, Aug 1The terminals are arranged in a U-shape, wit TB (TBIT) in the curve and T4 at left. Make sure you have your bags pretagged to SYD at DFW. All you need to do is exit T4, turn left and walk over to TBIT. (the bus (LAX Bus A) option would give you not enough time as it runs only every 12-15 mins from T4-T8, on to T1 to T3 & back to TBIT. Keep in mind that you have to go through security check again at TBIT.1039posted on Mon, Aug 1

Terminal 8 to Terminal 4 Time?Jul 26, 201120Can I walk this? Arrive Terminal 8 (United Express) to Depart Terminal 4 (American Express). What is the best way?DAVEEposted on Tue, Jul 26terminals T4 to T8 are next to each other on World Way. When you leave T8 walk left to T4. However, youcan take the blue-mard LAX Bus Route A on the lower arrivals level island in front of your terminal which runs every 12-15 mins (see sign "LAX shuttle airline connection". With 4 stops it should take no longer than 10 mins.MUCposted on Tue, Jul 26

American A to United - go thru security?Jul 26, 201110I arrive on American T4 and pick up a United/continental T7 or 8 - all carry on. How long does it take me to walk, and do I have to go through security?SHposted on Mon, Jul 25T4 through T8 are next to each other, but separate. You will have to exit T4 and either walk to T7 or 8, or take the shuttle bus which comes around every 12-15 mins (blue-marked LAX Route A on lower arrivals level island, under sign "LAX shuttle airline connection". Yes, you will have to go through security again at T7/8.1039posted on Tue, Jul 26

international terminal to terminal 3Jul 25, 201110What is the route to go from international terminal to terminal 3? Is there a provision for me to check my baggage in the international airport itself into virgin america after the customs check?AAposted on Sun, Jul 24I assume you arrive from an international flight, in which case you need to first collect your baggage, pass through customs clearance and recheck your bags again (which should be tagged as through baggage from your original departure). Thereafter proceed to the street level and catch the LAX bus Route A on lower arrivals level island in front of the terminal (yours is TBIT), Starting from TBIT, the next stops are at T4 through T8,then goes on to T1, T2, T3 and back to TBIT. The bus runs every 12-15 mins. Count about 3 mins for each terminal stop1039posted on Mon, Jul 25

TERMINAL 4 TO TERMINAL 3Jul 20, 201110HOW DO I GET FROM AN (AA) GATE IN TERMINAL 4 TO AN (AS) GATE IN TERMINAL 3?JCONTREposted on Tue, Jul 19LAX's terminals are arranged in a U-shape, served by the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Starting from TBIT, the next stops are at T4 –T8, it then goes on to the opposite side with T1, T2, T3 and back to TBIT. That's 7 stops at about 3 minutes each. You need to tag your checked bags as 'through baggage' at your departure airport. Once you arrive, simply go to the street level, catch your bus to T3, go through security and to your gates.MUCposted on Wed, Jul 20

Jul 15, 201110While there is a shuttle running every 12-15 mins in front of each terminal, starting at TBIT and continuing to the right to T4-T8, then around to T1, T2, T3 and back to TBIT, I am not sure whether you can walk between them (T1 is opposite T8, with the parking facilities in between). Would appreciate if you cd post a note if walking is possible.MUCposted on Fri, Jul 15

lacationJul 14, 201110if i'm traveling to emirates which direction I need to go?family 9posted on Wed, Jul 13You are not specific. However, Emirates Airlines arrives/departs from TBIT (Tom Bradley Terminal), which is the one in the U curve. (T4-T8 are on one side and T3-T1 on the other. A bus stops at the parking facilities taking you to this terminal. Blue-marked Route A buses make the round in front of all terminals undesign LAX Shuttle Airline Connection.HH39posted on Thu, Jul 14
