Arriving with southwest in LAX and have connecting flight to London with BA: how to go from one to the other?
You arrive in Terminal 1 and depart from the International Terminal. The Best way between them is just to walk.
Hi

As the title suggests, I have a 1 hour 15 minutes connection at LAX [Domestic to International]. Both my incoming and outgoing flight at American Airlines?

Is this do-able?

Thanks
Yes, that should be possible.
We are coming in to LAX on a Delta international flight so have to clear customs and immigration before boarding our ongoing Delta domestic flight. Our schedule gives us 2:25 minutes between flights. Will this be enough? We have heard horror stories about international arrival transfers at LAX but supposedly things have improved recently. Would appreciate any current information. Thanks.
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi
We have travelling Melbourne to Calgary, via LAX, with Qantas/Westjet
Arriving in LAX (Terminal B) at 6.35am, departing Terminal 2 (Calgary) at 8.45am. Under the Qantas/Westjet codeshare arrangement, do we still need to collect our baggage at LAX, and check it in again for the Calgary flight?

Also, do we have sufficient time to get through the TSA checks?

Thanks
Yes, you still have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check them at the re-check desk, then go to Terminal 2 and through security. You have just enough time.
I'm arriving from a domestic flight to LAX terminal 5 at 10:50, and my next flight is at 12:35 in Terminal B (TIBH). I don't have any checked luggage, but I also cannot get my boarding pass until I am at LAX. Will I have enough time, and will I have to go through security again going to TIBH from terminal 5? Can I check in at the gate?
Sorry, I mean Terminal TBIT
You can walk from T5 to the TBIT inside security. However, it depends on the airline whether or not you can check-in at the gate in the TBIT or if you have to check in outside security at their check-in counter.
I will arrive at LAX from Papeete on Air Tahiti Nui at 11:10am. How much time should I give myself for a connecting flight to Oklahoma
At least 3 hours, preferably a bit more.
Hi

"Delta operates a shuttle bus inside security from their gates in Terminals 2 and 3 to the TBIT"

So I don't need to go through TSA if I arrive on Delta to terminal 2 and then my connection oversea flight is from TBIT, right?
Yes, that is correct.
I am arrive on a United Flight entering LAX at either Terminal 7or 8. I need to get my connecting flight to New Zealand which leaves at Terminal 2 on Air New Zealand. What is the best way to get over to Terminal 2? I also have a long lay over. Is there a McDonalds in Terminal 2 outside of security?
Air New Zealand hasn't used Terminal 2 for several years. They use the International Terminal. There is a large food court in the International Terminal that I believe includes a McDonald's. You can just walk to the International Terminal.
Hi there,

I am transiting through LAX airport and I am afraid about the connection time regarding the fact that all passenger seem to have to get their baggages and drop them again before jumping in the connection flight.
My details:
1. Wed 28 June: Arriving at LAX (Terminal B) at 06:55am (Virgin Australia VA7) _ Connection (Terminal 2) at 10:12am for Orlando (Virgin Australia VA6604 - Operated by DELTA AIR LINES).
2. Sat 1 July: Arriving at LAX (Terminal 2) at 21:40pm (Virgin Australia Operated By Delta Air Lines VA6604) _ Connection (Terminal 2) at 22:44pm for Sydney (Virgin Australia VA6551).

Do you think this is enough transit time to catch both connections?
Thank
Those connection times are sufficient. On your way back to Sydney you don't have to do anything with your bags in Los Angeles.
Do we have to go through security again ?
And best route through the airport for this flight
Thanks
Yes, you will have to go through security again. You arrive in Terminal 2 or 3 and depart from Terminal 5. The best route is to walk along the curbfront.
Curbfront as in outside lax? I thought I read there is a bus u can take,,
Thanks ZAP
We only have carry-on as well :)
