China Southern International arrival to Delta Domestic Departure flights: how to connect? Can I walk? Do I need security check again?
If both flights are on the same reservation you will arrive in the International Terminal, Go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then walk to Terminal 2 or 3, go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi,

I arrive (Southwest) at Terminal 1 at 8:50am. I need to catch a connecting flight (Delta) at 9:50am at Terminal 3. I have only a carry-on, no checked bags. Two separate reservations.

Will I have enough time to make it to my second flight and if so, what is the quickest way to get there?

Thanks so much for your help!
You need to run to Terminal 2 or 3 and go through security again. You barely have enough time if everything goes perfectly. Check in for your Delta flight online before leaving on your first flight.

We are arriving from Sydney at 635 am and are checked through to Vancouver departing at 835 am is this enough time and will we need to collect and re check in baggage? Arrive Terminal 1 depart Terminal 2?
You do not arrive in Terminal 1. You arrive in the International Terminal. What airline is your flight to Vancouver on? Is it one reservation or two separate reservations with your flight from Sydney.
I have a flight arriving at LAX at 12:20pm arriving in terminal 3 and my connecting flight departs from terminal 7 at 1:25pm. I only have carry-on bags. Nothing to check in. What is the fastest way to get to my destination?
The fastest way is to run like your life depends on it as that is the only way you'll make this connection.
I have a SW arrival to LAX at 10:30am Fri, France Air changed their departure time to 12:15 pm. Will that be possible?? Time to connect
With no checked bags it's barely enough time. With checked bags that will be really difficult, bordering on impossible.
2 reservations
Melbourne to LAX arrives at 9:00
LAX to Montreal leaves at 11:40
Is this enough time to connect?
If both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time. If it's two separate reservations it will be a bit harder.
Thanks @ZAP two separate reservations. It will be a Sunday morning will that make a difference?
Sunday morning is a little less busy than the weekday mornings. but busier than Saturday morning.
I have a Virgin Australia flight arriving at LAX at 9am with a connecting flight to JFK with Delta at 11.15am. It is one ticket. How long is the usual immigration wait time and will I have enough time to change terminals? I have a AUS Passport.
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Yes, you will arrive in the International Terminal and depart from Terminal 2 or 3.
Hello. I am a non-rev passenger flying into Gate 32A at 7:15 a.m. and departing from Gate 21 at 7:55 a.m. Because I'm not a "real" passenger I won't get any assistance in making that connection. Will I make it??
Not unless the first flight arrives quite early. Delta does run a shuttle inside security between T2 and T3 that you can use.
Hi, I'm travelling from Sydney Australia on a Qantas flight, landing in LAX. To get to Toronto, I then have the choice of either a 2:15 layover with an American Airlines connection or a 6hr layover with a Westjet connection. It would all be on one booking.

Is the 2hr 15min layover enough time to comfortably make my flight?
If it's two separate reservations I'd be nervous about the 2:15 connection. If it were a single reservation I would feel better about it.
It would all be one reservation, booked through Qantas.
I am looking at booking a flight from MCI to LAX that arrives at 8:45 pm and will need to make a connection to a EVA airlines flight to Taipei at 11:30 pm. I will have one bag to check in. Is there enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Would a flight at 11:05 pm be too tight?
