i am foreigner i would be arriving from mexico by UA business class at 12.15 pm terminal 4. need to catch etihad flght to mumbai business class at 4.30 pm terminal B...is it possible ??
United doesn't use Terminal 4. United uses terminals 7 and 8. Please double check your reservation. Where in Mexico are you coming from? Are both flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations? You should have enough time.
I am flying into LAX from Cape Town via DOHA on Qatar Airlines (seemingly arriving at terminal 2). I have a connecting flight to Honolulu 1 hour 25 minutes later scheduled on Delta (seemingly from terminal 5). Is that enough time, or should I rather take the next flight to Honolulu on American that would give me an extra 2 hours?... but then 3h25 at LAX in transit!
That's not realistically enough time. You need the 3 hr 25 minutes.
I fly from Toronto into LAX via WestJet and depart to Maui on Delta- less than a 2 hour layover. Do I need o check in again or get baggage? How long will it take to get from terminal 2 to 5? I think those are the correct terminals.
If it's all on the same reservation then you don't have to do anything with your bags in Toronto as you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from T2 to T5 and then you have to go through security again in T5. You should have enough time though.
I arrive with Hawaiian Airlines 34 at 21:45 and need to collect my luggage. Will I make it on time to catch Spirit Airlines 184 to Cleveland at 23:37? What if HA is late?
Yes, that should be enough time. Hawaiian flights are rarely late, but if they are, you will be stuck in LAX. Spirit, does not accomodate people who miss their flights because of connections they booked themselves.
We arrive at lax 11:09 am and have a connecting flight to Phoenix at 12:48 pm. It sounds like we have to clear customs when we arrive at lax and then pass through security to catch the connecting flight? I'm worried that 90 minutes isn't going to be enough time.
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. What airlines are you flying? Are both flights on the same reservation?
my trip is YYC-LAX-SFO-TPE, do i get screening checking in LAX, need to take my checked baggage and re-check in? how long does it takes? i am not US residents. my connect time is 2.5 hours. I book the entire trip through United Airline. Thanks
You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Calgary. since the Calgary-LAX flight is operated by Air Canada. You will arrive in Terminal 2 and depart from Terminal 7/8. You will have to walk to T7 and go through security. You don't have to do anything with your bags. In SFO all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arrive at 7.20am on American Airlines AA72 from Sydney. I have a connecting flight with SOUTHWEST Airlines at 10.10 ( 2.5 hours ). I am hoping I can check my bags directly thriough at Sydney ?
Will I have enough time to clear customs and get to the connecting flight or will I be better to catch the later one departing at 1.55pm ?
About to book flight now.......
You cannot check your bags through to Southwest in Sydney. Southwest does not interline bags with any other airlines. You will have to take your bags to Terminal 1 to re-check them with Southwest. You have enough time if everything goes smoothlly.
Hi, I'm arriving with AA from SYD-LAX, arriving 6.15am. I've got a connecting AA flight to Seattle leaving 7.50am. I assume I'm going to make it if flights are on-time? I know I have to clear customs when I arrive - would I then check my suitcase in at a transit desk or do I have to take it to the next terminal?
Oh - I'm an Aussie with ESTA
You can re-check your bag at the transit desk. You should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
