This week I will need to connect from a LAS->LAX flight to United 839 from LAX to Sydney Australia. Today United reservations told me the Sydney is leaving from Terminal 7. They were unable to say if it always does.

Does anyone know? If it ever leaves from TBIT that will seriously affect my connection time allowance. If it always goes from Term 7 and I fly in on UA I can save the security re-clearance and travel time to TBIT and make a shorter connection time.

Any frequent flight 839 flyers know the answer? Thanks!

Also, suppose I arrive at Terminal 8 and have to get to TBIT and re-clear security. How much time should I allow? SYD departure is 10:50pm, so I am assuming the security line won't be very long. But I can't risk missing the flight!
No United flights ever leave from the TBIT. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time,.
Flying from New Zealand with New Zealand Air, landing at LAX at 10:30am. Separate reservation with Delta leaves for domestic flight at 1:00pm. Is this enough time?
That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
hi, flying southwest from Tulsa to lax will be there @ 9:40am will I have time to go get boarding pass from china eastern departing @ 11:30am thanks
With checked bags, no, that's not enough time.
We land into LAX via Southwest at 11.20 and need to catch emirates flight at 3.45pm. We may have nearly 6 large bags. Is there an easier way to go to International terminal. Thanks
We're arriving from London Gatwick at 5:05 on a Sunday and taking a separate (not connected) flight to Portland. I'm assuming we'd have to clear customs before rechecking our bagged for the second flight. My question is how long should I allow? I need to book the second leg and wanted to leave enough buffer time for customs and security.
I would want at least 3 hours between flights.
Awesome, that's what I was thinking, but I've never gone through customs. Thanks for the response!!
I will be arriving from Australia at 0615 am and need to jump onto an AA flight to Miami which departs at 0900. I have checked baggage.. Will there be enough time to make the flight!? Thanks in advance
Yes, that should be enough time.
hi we are flying into LAX from New Orleans (stopover Houston) landing at 1451hrs terminal 7 then connecting to Hawaiian air dep terminal 2 at 1705hrs - not sure if can check luggage all the way through - will we have enough time?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Does anyone know if there is a separate security line for premium economy/business class passengers at LAX international terminal like there is at JFK and some other airports around the world ? I know the regular security line there can be a nightmare!
As far as I know in the International Terminal there is not, or at least I don't recall one.
landing at 8.24pm on AA from las vegas, leaving on Emirates at 10.30pm, will only have carry on luggage, is two hours adequate,
Yes, that is possible, especially if you are able to check in online for your Emirates flight then you can go directly to your Emirates departure gate via the new connector building.
Thank you, on line check in is possible, but not mobile boarding pass,
I am arriving on Southwest to Terminal 1 at 1:40 PM next Sunday. I will be departing on Air China from Terminal B (international terminal) at 2:20 PM. I will have already printed off my boarding pass and will only have carry on luggage so I will not need to check in luggage at the counter. Will I have enough time? I can run if I need to. ;)
I hope your Southwest flight arrives early. That's a very difficult connection and you will have to run.
Yeahh, i decided to be a little realistic and book an earlier flight. :) Thanks for the quick response.
