Hello, I have arrival at LAX International Terminal on Korean Air 15:10, connecting on American/American Eagle 18:20. Tickets are on same reservation. My question is after I claim my bag and re-check at American Airlines re-check desk at end of customs, I go to Terminal 6, get boarding pass from American, but where to after? From where in terminal 6 is the shuttle bus that goes to the American Eagle remote terminal? Also, are all American Eagle flights those small planes where you have to "pink-tag" your roller carryon bag upon boarding? Thank you
Since they are on the same reservation you should be able to drop your bags at the re-check desk in the International Terminal. The shuttle leaves from gate 60. American Eagle flights on E-175's don't require a "pink tag" for most carry-ons, but ones on E-145's and CRJ's do.
I arrive from Seoul, South Korea at 10:20 am via Asiana and have a connecting flight on Avianca to San Salvador at 1:25 pm. Will this give me enough time to go through customs and recheck my bag? I also have an injured foot so I am slow moving
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, I am arriving from Doha on QR739 to LAX (Terminal 2) at 02:05pm and my onward travel is at 05:15pm on AA209 to SFO. Do I need to go through customs/immigration, claim baggage and recheck-in with American Airlines ? The booking does not specify the departure Terminal for AA209. Is AA209 connection in the same terminal ?
My return is also via LAX. So would the immigration/passport control be in SFO or LAX ? Do I need to collect the bags and recheck-in at LAX ?
If all tickets are on the same reservation, you will arrive in Terminal 2, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then walk or take the shuttle to Terminal 4 or 6 (your flight could depart at either), then go through security and to your departure gate). On the return, all you have to do is go from your arrival terminal to Terminal 2 and go through security. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time.
Hi we are arriving at TBIT at 6-30am with virgin australia and have a connecting flight with westjet at 8-45 am is this enough time and do we have to go through customs thanks george
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags, go to Terminal 2, and go through security and to your departure gate. If you have two separate reservations you will have to take your bags with you to T2 to re-check with Westjet. This is a very difficult connection.
Hi thanks for your help i forgot to say the connecting flight on westjet is to Calgary Canada i think it is on the one booking
Our Delta flight from Seattle to LA has been delayed so now we have 1 hr to make our connecting flight to Belize. Is there enough time to make it? Do we have to go through any additional security? Oh, we leave for airport in 2.5 hrs and jsut got notified by Delta.
If both flights are on Delta all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no additional security. You have enough time.
Flying from Tahiti on Tahiti Nui arriving at LAX at 1010am. Need to book a connecting flight to Chicago with American or United. What is a safe departing time for this booking? Would a 1250am flight allow enough time?
I'm arriving to LAX from Phoenix on a separate booked flight at 1:55pm then need to get to international terminal for a qatar airways flight at 4:05pm. Is this enough time? As I need to Collect my two bags.
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I arrive at terminal B on Qantas / AA code share at 6.05am Tuesday 13 December I depart terminal 0 with AA at 9.20am same day to Mexico City 2 seperate bookings Enough time? Best way to transfer? Will I have to enter the US to do so? Thanks
There is no Terminal 0, you will depart from Terminal 4 or 6. Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go to your departure terminal, go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
