Lulea LLA Airport Overview
Lulea International Airport LLA is Sweden's fifth-largest Airport, and is the largest airport in northern Sweden (referred to as ‘Norrland’). It serves the majority of municipalities in Norbotten.
The Airport is located near the village of Kallax, about 7 km southeast of Lulea.
With a long runway and an estimated 1.1 million passengers in 2012, Lulea International Airport is served by a number of domestic and international airlines and charter companies, offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe.
Lulea Airport has one passenger terminal offering at present a restaurant and cafe, a tax-free shop, left luggage office, internet access, conference facilities and a VIP lounge & rental car counters. Refurbishment and expansion work completed include improvements of the security screening area, facilities for police & pasport control, new baggage hall and baggage sorting facility, as well as outisde taxi stand & rental car perations. By year-end 2013 airside improvements will also be completed.

Long-distance coaches stop at the bus station in Lulea's city center, were you can make transfers from the Airport bus.
