Luxembourg Findel Airport has currently only one operational passenger terminal - TA.
Present and future Airport developments: Currently dormant Terminal B
(closed since 2008) - with 10 departure gates and some 700 sq.meters of waiting space - turned out to be in good condition and much of it is ready to be used - therefore it was decided in May 2016 to reactivate it by (latest) July 2017
, when it is to serve exclusively Schengen zones
. Passengers will be able to access their aircraft directly from the terminal. A coffee & snack bar, and a Starbucks will be added near the entrance of TB.
TB's apron is to be modified for larger regional aircraft.
A walkway will connect TB from TA's departure lounge (between bookstore & Moselier wine bar).
It is estimated that by completion of TB, the Airport's capacity will increase from current 2.7M to 4M passengers annually.
