Luxembourg Findel LUX Airport Overview

Luxembourg Findel Airport LUX serves the small country of Luxembourg, which is surrounded by Belgium, France and Germany, all of which can be reached within 10 to 20 minutes.

The Airport is located 3.5 miles north-east of the capital city of Luxembourg-Ville, in the southern part Luxembourg, and is accessible via  A1 motorway, Exit 9, and via A6/A7 motorway, Exit 7.   For traffic information open: cita.lu

With a 4,000 meter runway and an estimated 1.6 million passengers in 2012, the Airport is hub for Luxair, and is served by a number of major Airlines offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe.

Luxembourg Findel Airport has two passenger terminals, Terminal A & Terminal B (TA & TB). (For more information, please refer to 'Terminal Map' page.)

Parking options at Findel Airport: Parking area P-C is closest to Terminal A, with covered parking P-A and P-B on either side.

To get from Luxembourg Findel  Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a bus or the bus to the train: Taxis cannot be called in Luxembourg, instead taxi stands ar at dedicated areas at the airport, the town center and the railway station. Eurobus 16  runs to the Central Station via Kirchberg to the city center Mo-Fr every 10-15 mins 5:28am to 8:43pm; & in the evening at 9:28, 9:43 & 10:58pm, with limited service Sat/Sun. (For public transport information call +352 2465 2465).  The Trier Airportliner is a shuttle bus running between the Airport & Trier (tel: +49 651 94275.
A train station in Terminal A is part of the train connection project expected to be operational by the end of 2016, connecting the Airport to the Kirchberg plateau.
