Manhattan Airport has a single terminal building that is divided into two levels. The upper level is used for departures, while the lower level is used for arrivals. The terminal building is designed to provide passengers with a comfortable and convenient travel experience. Overview of Terminals
The terminal building at MHK Airport is modern and well-equipped to handle the needs of travelers. The airport has a single concourse that serves all airlines, with gates located on either side of the concourse. The airport has a total of 12 gates, which are numbered from 1 to 12. The terminal building is easy to navigate, with clear signage and helpful staff available to assist passengers.
Getting Between Terminals
As the airport has only one terminal building, there is no need to transfer between terminals. All gates are located within the same building, and passengers can easily walk between gates without the need for transportation. However, if passengers require assistance, the airport provides wheelchair and mobility aid services to help passengers move between gates.
Food, Shops & Services
MHK may be small, but it still offers a decent selection of food and shopping options for travelers passing through. The airport has a restaurant called FlyKSU Cafe, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features classic American dishes like burgers, sandwiches, and salads, as well as some vegetarian options. There's also a bar where you can grab a drink or watch a game on TV.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Manhattan Airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. Passengers are required to pass through security before entering the gate area. The airport recommends arriving at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to allow enough time for check-in and security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
MHK Airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, allowing them to use dedicated screening lanes and keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
As a domestic airport, the airport does not have passport and immigration control locations. However, passengers traveling internationally will need to go through customs and immigration upon arrival at their destination airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
MHK has both standard TSA checkpoints and TSA PreCheck lanes available for eligible passengers. TSA PreCheck allows for expedited screening, allowing passengers to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA PreCheck, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA PreCheck program.
Global Entry Locations
Manhattan Regional Airport does not have a Global Entry enrollment center on site, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can apply for Global Entry. The closest enrollment center is located in Kansas City, Missouri, approximately 2 hours away by car. Global Entry allows for expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an appointment at an enrollment center for an in-person interview.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Airport Lounge Locations
Manhattan Airport may be a small airport, but it still offers a few lounges for passengers to relax in before their flights. The airport has a United Club lounge located near gate 2. This lounge is available for United Airlines passengers and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.
In addition to the United Club lounge, MHK Airport also has a private lounge called the Manhattan Regional Airport Executive Lounge. This lounge is located near gate 4 and is available for all passengers for a fee. The lounge offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi.
Baggage Claim Areas
The airport has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal. Baggage from arriving flights is delivered to these areas for passengers to retrieve. The baggage claim areas are easily accessible and clearly marked with signs. If you have any trouble locating your baggage, there are airport staff available to assist you.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for use at MHK. They can be found in the baggage claim areas, as well as throughout the terminal. The carts are free to use and can be a helpful tool for transporting your luggage. If you require assistance with your luggage, airport staff are available to assist you.
