McAllen International Airport MFE is located two miles from midtown McAllen, Texas, a quarter mile from highway US 83, and within walking distance from hotels, the valley's largest mall, and numerous restaurants; it is also only 7 miles from Reynosa, Mexico, accessible via three international bridges.
McAllen is the primary business airport of the Rio Grande Valley in Deep South Texas and Northeast Mexico. The Rio Grande Valley is a culturally rich and diverse area stretching from Roma to Brownsville.
At present the Airport provides non-stop flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Las Vegas and Memphis via American Airlines; Continental and Allegiant. Allegiant also provide seasonal flights or Orlando, Florida.

The passenger terminal offers wireless internet access, a business center, shoeshine, a gift and duty-free shop, and a number of food & drink establishments.
