I have a flight on Southwest arriving from Kansas City at 6:40 a.m. Would that give me enough time to connect with carry on bag only to a Hawaiian Airlines flight to HNL at 8:35 a.m.? I'm trying to decide if I need to arrive the night before, but I'd really like to avoid the cost of a hotel room. Thanks so much!
Hi. I had a flight out of LAS with Jetblue at 1159p that had it's flight time changed to 943p (boards 908p?). I have a Southwest Flight arriving at 725p (Terminal 1). I have 1 carry-on bag. How long will it take to get from T1 to T3? Should I change my Southwest flight to the flight that arrives an hour earlier? And do I need to clear security between T1 and T3? Thanks!
You should still have enough time, but if you want to change to the hour earlier that might not be a bad idea. It is theoretically possible to go from T1 to T3 inside security through concourse D but I have not personally done it.
Thanks for the response. If anyone can clarify the time it would take to get from T1 to T3 with one carry-on bag that would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you can do it inside security, it would take 15-20 minutes. Outside security, at least an hour.
LAS has grown and I didn't realize that. I arrive on Hawaiian at midnight on Tuesday morning. Terminal 3. Depart on American at 1:15 am. Terminal 1. Essentially, after disembarking, I'll have about 45 minutes before they start closing the gate. What is the fastest way to get from T3 to T1 at midnight?
With checked bags it's impossible. Without checked bags you can just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if you check in online for your AA flight because both gates are in Concourse D.
Many thanks. I'll be traveling with a backpack...no checked luggage. I really appreciate the information. ke aloha
