ConnectionsMay 8, 201310Im arriving on Southwest concourse B and departing on American Concourse D. How do I get there and do I need to go through security again?babygirlposted on Tue, May 7[ Reply ][ Like ]I'm pretty sure you can walk between concourse B and the Main Terminal to D automated Tram beyond security. If you can't, you'll need to exit security in the main terminal, go to the departures level, go through security and then follow the signs to concourse D tram.ZAPposted on Wed, May 8

SW but w/bag recheck & security rescreenApr 9, 201310Due to quirky Southwest pricing, I can save about 1/3 the airfare separately booking FLL-LAS then LAS-BUR (as opposed to their FLL-BUR (despite SW using the very same flights). But doing it separately means I will have to leave the secured area, retrieve my bags, recheck them, then go back through security. Arriving 18-Oct-13 at 4:40pm, departing 7:10pm. I'm thinking there's enough time to safely do this - agree/disagree?DavidPposted on Mon, Apr 8

Transfer Hawaiian to SWA- no checked bagApr 15, 201330Monday 6/17-Arrive on HAW at LAS 7:20am- depart SWA at 9:00am- no checked bags- 4 people- is this enough time to make the connection? Please advise shortest route. Thanksmarisbnmposted on Sat, Apr 6That should be enough time. There's a shuttle that runs on the curbside from T3 to T1. That would probably be the shortest route. It might be possible to take the D-satellite train from T3-E to the D-satellite, then the train from the D-satellite to T1 too, but that would be a pretty non-standard route and I'm not sure it's possible. Check in for your Southwest flight before you leave Hawaii.ZAPposted on Sat, Apr 6At LAS, currently Hawaiian uses the Satellite Concourse with gates D1-59, which is located south, between Terminals 1 & 3, and served by the D tram & C tram, arriving there one level below the gates (in the center - take escalator down). Southwest is presently in Concourse C (gates C1-25) of Terminal 1. Without baggage transfer you should be able to make it easily in that time.saapr13posted on Sat, Apr 6Monday morning is a very busy time to to leave SWA, can be a very long security line. Can be very long waits but as long as all goes smooth and with no bags to transfer you should just make it. And yes you must get a shuttle from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 and then get to the C gates, which can be got to by going to level 1 of terminal 1 just go straight towards the Starbucks on level 1 then head around it out the doors right behind it and cross the drop off street and when you enter the other building turn left and head up the escalators and you are there.CRposted on Mon, Apr 15

FROM D GATES TO A GATESApr 15, 201323Can this be be done inside security? i want to check in through D because it's the only Concourse with TSA pre-check. I went through D last week to check out the Centurion Lounge and didn't have time to fully investgate after getting off the D train back to Term --the guard said this isn't possible but I know I have seen a sign that says "To D gates" after entering security through A.DUMMYposted on Sat, Mar 301 person likes this post [ Like ]At LAS if you arrive at the Satellite Concourse of Terminal 1 and need to get to Terminal 1's Concourse A - take the D gate tram to the C gates of the main terminal 1, where the esplanade connects all gates, including A gates.sumar13posted on Sun, Mar 311 person likes this post [ Like ]The A, B and C gates are connected and can be passed with out leaving security. D and E gates are in the same security area. There is no free way to pass from A,B and C to D, and E unless a security officer will bypass you over its a locked area. I was told that if I had no pass for the the other area I wanted into, that I would have to leave and go through security for the other gate area. Some may get passed over but there is no way to do it unless someone opens the locked security door for you. So no guaranties that you can get from one area to the other without going through another security point.CRposted on Mon, Apr 151 person likes this post [ Like ]

LAS - Going from Terminal 1 to TerminalMar 24, 201330Connecting from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 Mar 24, 2013 1 0 I plan to arrive Terminal 1 with United Airlines at 22.29 and would like to connect to an Air Canada flight in Terminal 3 at 23.30, giving me only 1 hour. Since I've never been to LAS airport, i'm concerned about finding the shuttle and getting there on time.***posted on Sun, Mar 24You shouldn't have to take a shuttle. There is a tram that runs from concourse D where your United flight will arrive to Terminal 3 where your Air Canada flight will depart.ZAPposted on Sun, Mar 24One hour connection time at LAS, between T1 & T3, is very tight: A shuttle bus with the McCarran logo runs about every 12-15 minutes between both terminals; the bus stops at T1 on level 0: from baggage claim, take elevator /escalator down one level and exit terminal, then take the crosswalk towards the covered parking garage, where the bus stops; at T3, it stops on level 0 in the center of the curb. However, at T3 you need to go through security check before proceeding to your connecting gate (T3 has gates E1-15).sumar13posted on Sun, Mar 24

Connecting from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3Mar 24, 201310I plan to arrive Terminal 1 with United Airlines at 22.29 and would like to connect to an Air Canada flight in Terminal 3 at 23.30, giving me only 1 hour. What happens if the UA flight is delayed?***posted on Sat, Mar 23I can't seem to figure out what airport you will be making this connection at? Where is it? Also, if you miss your connection you will be re-booked. It depends on the cause of the delay whether you will get a free hotel or not. Also, since you're getting in so late it might not be worth it to get a hotel anyway.ZAPposted on Sun, Mar 24

Going from C to D gates and back againMar 27, 201312Flying out of LAS via SWA (probably a C gate) but want to utilize the new Centurion Lounge which is in the D concourse. Is it possible to go through security at the C gates, transfer to D gate and go back again without going back through security?PJL323posted on Fri, Mar 82 people like this post [ Like ]

Do I need to re-check thru security?Feb 16, 201310Moving between Gates C and D is there security to pass through when getting a connecting flight? Thanksdesertcatposted on Fri, Feb 15Keep in mind that C gates are part of Terminal 1; however, they are long and use the C gate tram (arriving at Baggage claim level; right adjacent to your arriving C gate tram is the D gate tram to the more distant Satellite D (where it will arrive close gates D50-59, and gates D32-D43; on opposite sides are gates D16-D26 & D1-D14. No security check needed.safeb13posted on Sat, Feb 16

what level is info counter onJan 2, 201311what level is information counter on for arriving passengers, and are flights from Canada considered international?tnposted on Tue, Jan 11. LAS has two passenger terminals (T1 & T3), both of which have the baggage claim area and information counter on level 0. 2. Certain airports in Canada have US customs clearance - passengers arriving from those airports are considered domestic arrivals. 3. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/las - then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.wejan13posted on Wed, Jan 21 person likes this post [ Like ]
