  • Planning a flight to BOI through LAS and SLC

Would 2 hours 48 minutes be enough time to transfer from international to domestic? Planning a flight to Boise that stops in Las Vagas and Salt Lake City, around December time but will need to book earlier. Also will eligible for Automated Passport Control. Thanks for any answers.

It's probably enough time, but what airlines are you flying? Where is your international flight coming from?

Arriving on Delta in LAS connecting to Frontier. Both use D gates. From gate 42 to gate 17 how long is the walk?

    Maybe 5-10 minutes.

Looking at booking WN BUR-LAS arriving 3:25PM into LAS, and departing on Norwegian @ 5:25PM to Stockholm, ARN. WN will arrive into T1 B or C-gates, and Norwegian goes out of T3. I will not have any bags, however DY does not allow online check in. Regular check in closes @ 4:25PM. Is 1 hour enough to get from T1 to T3? What is the fastest way, shuttle or can I take the trains to D-gates and then E-gates from where I will exit and go to the check-in counter?

Yes, without checked bags you could take the train to the D gates and then the E gates and then exit. That's what I'd try to do. It's still not without risks.

Is the tram to D-gates clearly signed in the B/C-gate areas? If arriving in the low C-gates I guess it will be faster to take the tram which on the map looks to be right next to the tram going to D-gates. Also, over at D-gates are the trams connecting T1 and T3 close to each other?

It's not very clearly marked because it's not a connection many people have to make. In D, the T1 and T3 trains aren't too far from each other - you'll want to follow signs that are pointing to the United/Frontier/Hawaiian baggage claim (they use the D gates and Terminal 3 for check in/baggage claim).

  • SouthWest - Connection Time

First time flying with SouthWest and into McCarran. i am due to arrive from Louisville at 18.10 and then go on to LAX 19.15, will I have sufficient time? Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Yes, that should be plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I'm coming in on Norwegian Egates from Copenhagen at 5pm and need to connect to Hawaiian D gates for a 6:15pm flight, will I make it, and should I take the train or walk from E Gate to D Gate?

This connection is completely impossible. In Las Vegas you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, and go through US Customs, then you will have to go to the departure level of Terminal 3 and re-check your bags with Hawaiian. However, the bag check closes at 5:30. There's pretty much no way you can make this connection.

Also, it's impossible to walk from the D gates to the E gates, you can only take the train.

We arrive in LAS at 2:33 pm on 27th February with Delta (Terminal 1). Our connection flight leaves at 5:25 pm with Norwegian (Terminal 3). Is three hours enough time to retrieve our bags, go to the terminal 3, check in our bags and make it to the gate on time?

That should be enough time if your Delta flight is on-time and the shuttle bus comes reasonably quickly.

  • T3 to T1 transfer

I'm flying on BA to LHR to LAS arriving in T3 then connecting onto DELTA to SJC T1. Is 1.5 hours enough time to clear security and transfer terminals - hand luggage only. Will I need to get the inter-terminal shuttle?

If you are able to check in online for your Delta flight you can go through security in Terminal 3 after you clear customs and then take the train to the D concourse, thus avoiding the inter-terminal shuttle. I think you would have enough time to do that. If you have to take the inter-terminal shuttle, no, I don't think you'd have enough time. Even without having to take the shuttle, this is a very tight connection.

  • Flying in from London out to Los Angeles

Hi, I am arriving in to Las Vegas from London at 6pm on British Airways. I then need to take a connecting flight to Los Angeles. Is there enough time to catch a flight with either Sprint or Southwest at 20:15 or do I need more time?

You would need more time to safely make such a connection unless you aren't checking bags.

I am arriving at C gates and need to go to D gates with carry-on bags only. Is there a tram between gates inside security, or will I need to take a shuttle and go through security again to get to D gates?

You should be able to take the tram.

Arrive on SWA (C gates) at 0845. Depart on Delta (D gates) at 1010. Doable?

Without checked bags it should be possible.

I arrive in LAS 9:50 pm on 12/18 with Southwest (seems like either gates B or C in Terminal 1) from SFO. My next flight leaves at 11:25 pm with Air Canada (seems like gates D in Terminal 3) and I have a checked bag. Do I have enough time to retrieve my bag, go to the correct terminal, and check in the bag?

That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You'll have to take a shuttle from T1 to T3 to re-check your bag with Air Canada.

  • Using Lounge in Gate D but flight in gate E

If my flight departs terminal 3/Gate E but I want to use the Centurion lounge in Gate D can I enter the airport at Gate D or do I need to check-in at E first, then take the shuttle to D? Thanks!

The D gates don't have a check in area or security checkpoint. They are connected to both Terminal 1 and 3 by trains inside security.

Please tell me how to quickly get from an American arrival in 1-D-8, to Alaska's departure at 3-E15. Thanks.

There is an underground train inside security from the D gates to Terminal 3 - follow signs for the United baggage claim once you arrive in D. You can get between the gates in less than 15 minutes.

I´m going to arrive in LAS 2:20pm (12th dec) with jetblue from SFO. My next flight leaves at 17:25 with norweigian (terminal 3) and I have a checked bag. Do I have to go out, through security with my bag, to the check-in counters to check in my bag with norwegian and will I have enough time (3h)?

Yes, you will have to claim your bag from Jet Blue and then bring it to the Norwegian check-in desk on the departure level to re-check it then go through security. You should have enough time.

Can I make it from A gates to D gates in 45 minutes. I am booking a tight connection between allegiant and delta with carryon luggage only

No, I really don't advise you try that.
