Hello, is the connecting train between gates D and E within security. I am flying on Delta (gates D) and departing on Jetblue and want to know if it possible without going through security again. Thank you!

    Yes, it is.

  • An Hr enough time to make domestic connection from Frontier -Spirit?

Help please, booked a flight flying into Las Vegas on Frontier and there's 64 mins between my next flights from a different terminal for Spirit. Is there enough time? I am not checking bags. ThanK You so much

In theory, it's enough time without checked bags, but Frontier runs late a LOT and if you are late arriving, Spirit will NOT accomodate you on another flight. You'll be stuck buying another ticket. Don't be a cheapskate, just buy a normal ticket instead of trying to stitch something together across two different budget carriers.

hahaha Thank You ZAP - will definitely not be doing this sorta booking in the future. How do I get to Spirit from Frontier as quick as possible? Do I take a train from Terminal 3 toTerminal 1 gate B?

You can in theory take a train from the D gates where Frontier arrives to Terminal 1 and then go to the Spirit departure gates in B.

I have 40 min layover between two southwest flights in Las vegas. Is that enough time?

It's possible if everything goes smoothly.

  • Terminal E & Terminal D connection

Hello, I need to go to D1 and then to E11. Is there a connection between the 2 gates so I don't have to exit out of D terminal to go back into security line thru E terminal again?

D is not a terminal, it is a gate area that is connected to both Terminals 1 and 3 inside security by a train. You shouldn't have to go through security again unless you have to transfer checked bags yourself.

Thank you so much for your reply!!

We are flying in on SWA for the Global Entry interview. What is the fastest way of getting to the office?

  • Delta to Virgin Atlantic connection

I am arriving with Delta at Gate D at T1 and need to get to Gate E at T3 for Virgin Atlantic flight. Luggage will go straight through. Will there be time for connection with 90 min layover. And how should this be done?

You won't actually arrive in T1, you arrive in the D gates, you just have to take the train to the E gates (also the train to the United Baggage claim), then go upstairs to the E gates where your Virgin Atlantic flight will depart.

Can I go from United (D gates) to Southwest (C gates) without clearing security again?

It's theoretically possible (follow sings for the Delta baggage claim from the D gates to get on the right train, but then do not exit the sterile area, follow signs to the C gates once the train arrives in Terminal 1). However, I've never done it and have not personally read an account of anyone who has done it. if you do it, please write here to let me know it's possible.

  • Location of Southwest and Delt terminals

Im Flying in to McCarran AP on Southwest and a friend is arriving on Delta; are the two terminals close to each other

Delta uses the D gates which are in their own building, but both airlines use Terminal 1 for check-in and baggage claim, so technically, they use the same terminal.

  • Meeting friend at Gate

I'm flying in with JetBlue to Terminal 3, but my friend is at Terminal 1 with Air Canada, can I meet him at his gate without going through security? Can I get through security with my existing boarding pass?

Getting from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 inside security is difficult and requires going through the D gates. You cannot get through security without a boarding pass DEPARTING Las Vegas that day.

So it's difficult, but not impossible?

It's theoretically possible, but I have no confirmation of actually reading about anybody who went from T3 to T1 inside security through the D-gate trains. If you successfully do it, please let me know.

I am flying into C in Las Vegas at night with one hour until a connecting flight on a different airlines in Terminal D....how do I go from C to D quickly without going back through security?! Thanks!

Follow signs to the D gates. There is a train from T1 to D for Delta and American passengers.

I have a flight with Delta arriving at 6.35PM and a connecting flight with Southwest departing at 8PM. I have only carry on luggage, will I be able to make it?

I supposed it's possible, check in online for your Southwest flight and follow the signs to the Delta baggage claim and get on the train to Terminal 1 but then don't exit security, instead follow the signs to the B and C gates.

San Diego to Vegas. Southwest. Arrives Vegas at 10:05 pm at Terminal 1. Connection Vegas to Milwaukee. Frontier. Departs Vegas at 11:25 pm from Terminal 3. Have TSA precheck. No checked bags. Only carry on. Do I have enough time to make my connection?

If the first flight is on-time, then yes, you should be able to make that. Note however, that you won't get pre-check in Las Vegas because Frontier is still not a pre-check participant.

Frontier website says they do participate in pre check!

Thanks for that info - that's a recent occurrence.

  • Tram or Shuttle

My friend and I are flying in at the same time me in Terminal 3 and her in terminal 1. I don't have any checked lugguage, could I take the tram to terminal 1 to meet her or do I have to take the shuttle?

If you are arriving in concourse D, you could follow the signs to the American baggage claim and that would take you to the same area as she arrives in.

  • British Airways to JetBlue in 1 hour 25 mins

Arriving on BA flight from London at 18:35 and changing to JetBlue flight to San Francisco at 19:59, a British citizen, now bags. Will I have enough time to go through Immigration and then checkin for the JetBlue flight? Thanks in advance

    with no bags

That should be just possible. You can check in for your JetBlue flight online before leaving London. In Las Vegas you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security.

  • Alaska Air connecting to Delta and back?
    Nov 27, 2016
    1
Looking at flights - first one gets in on Alaska Air from Seattle at 9:00 PM, and departs at 11:35 PM to Cincinnati. The flight coming home gets into Vegas via Delta at 5:30, then departs from Alaska Air to Seattle at 7:50 PM. Are both of these long enough to make it if we only bring carry-ons?

Yes, both of those connections would be sufficient.

Arriving on SW flight at 10:45pm, departing on United at 11:20pm on Dec 23. No bags. Will I make it?

Realistically I don't think that's enough time because you have to go completely across the airport.
