Melbourne International Airport MLB serves the City of Melbourne and central Florida's east coast. For the visitor, the area offers endless sun-drenched beaches, a visit to the Space Museum, as well as dozens of amusement parks small and large, with Disney Land in Orlando as top attraction.

MLB Airport is located outside the City of Melbourne - located near major north-south traffic arteries -  Interstate Hwy 95, & U.S. Highway 1.  It opens at 4:30am and closes usually with the last flight of the day.

With 3 runways and an estimated 430K+ passengers annually, Melbourn International Airport is presently served by major airlines offering daily nonstop flights to Atlanta & Charlotte, with connections around the globe. Baer Air provides scheduled and charter flights. 

Melbourne Airport has one passenger terminal.

Transportation:  The Intermodal Transportation Facility includes a Greyhound Bus Station, Taxi-Limo-Shuttle Vans; and Charter Buses.

  - Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) buses (tel. 321-633-1878 or visit:  serve Brevard County with accessible buses: A SCAT bus stop is outside the main terminal.
  - The Greyhound bus Terminal (tel. 321-723-4323 or 800-231-2222 or visit  has a counter near the international concourse and departs near the main terminal - with daily service to Florida cities & beyond.

NOTE:  SmartGate border control's  ABC e-gates have been installed at: Melboune, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Cairns & Darwin.   (Biometric cameras fitted to the eGates automatically adjust to the passenger’s height and innovative document feeder technology automatically positions the passport precisely on the reader eliminating any delays due to document misplacement or inadequacy of time for reading. During busy periods, each eGate is capable of processing up to 150 passengers an hour.)
