Memphis Airport (MEM) Baggage and Security

Baggage carts are available for rent from the upper & lower drives and the parking garage as well as inside the terminal in all three baggage claim lobbies and gate concourses. Baggage cart rental is $2.00 with a 25 cent reward for returning cart to storage rack. The fee is payable with Cash ($1 or $5 bills, 5, 10, 25-cent coins) with change given for amount over purchase, OR Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

Skycap service is also available throughout the airport to persons needing special assistance.

Curbside Checkin:

Airlines WITH curbside check-in upon arrival: Northwest Airlines, Northwest Airlink, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Express.

Airlines WITHOUT curbside check-in upon arrival: US Airways/American West Express, Airtran

All airlines offer skycap assistance with baggage from upper level curbside to ticket counter. Skycaps expect a gratuity for this service.

Please contact your airline for information about fees charged for checked baggage as well as the size and limitations of you baggage.
Please keep valuables and personal items with you all time in your hand luggage.
Please label your luggage with your name and address.
Base on your flight number, you can find out which carousel you need. Please be patient to wait for the confirmation at the carousel and do not block access for the others.
