Medical Care at MEM Airport:
The Dorothy L. Bobbitt Health Station is open to the traveling public and Airport employees for illnesses, minor injuries, accidents and any emergencies that may occur. A registered nurse is available daily Mo-Fri, 8am-4:30pm.
Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs):
Memphis International Airport has 25 AEDs connected to the alarm systems and installed in the three airport terminals. Additional AEDs under the control of Airport Staff located in the following areas: Police - Communications and Operations - Health Station
People With Special Needs / Persons With Disabilities at Memphis MEM Airport Handicapped Access at MEM Airport:
Parking - FREE designated, clearly marked handicapped parking is available for handicap parking - provided that you have a "hang tag" or appropriately designated license plate. On the blank side of your parking ticket write your "hang tag" handicap permit number, the expiration date, license plate number, ydrivers license number, home telephone number, and your signature. Please hand it to the person in the booth upon exiting. Location:
• Lower Level has 28 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Ground Level has 18 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Upper Level has 8 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Handicapped Parking is also available for the traveling public along the passenger drive in arrivals and departures. Upper Level has 3 spaces and Lower Level has 4 spaces.
Elevatorsare in all 3 Terminals: A, B and C:
• Terminal A - Elevator in Delta Baggage Claim area (West side), through double doors.
• Terminal B - Elevator on Main Terminal, Ticket Level, behind PK's Restaurant (formerly known as Perkins).
• Terminal C - Elevator in American Baggage Claim (East side), through single door.
Wheelchairs are available by contacting Skycaps through the various Airlines. Skycaps will also assist with luggage and any other packages.
