Arriving and Parking At Memphis International Airport
When arriving at the Memphis International Airport we suggest that you proceed directly to Parking. You should decide between Long Term Parking and Short Term Parking.

Long-term parking is intended for stays of several hours to more than one day. Short-term parking is intended for stays of less than several hours.

Curbside Check-In Picking Up/Dropping Off Travelers
The following Airlines are those with curbside check-in upon arrival:
• Northwest Airlines
• AirTran Airways
• Delta Air Lines
• American Airlines

Curbside check in at Northwest Airlines is performed by Northwest employees.
Curbside check in at AirTran, Delta and American Airlines is contracted through Argenbright.

The following Airlines do not have curbside check-in upon arrival:
• Continental Airlines
• Northwest Airlink
• US Airways
• United Express
• America West Express

All airlines offer skycap assistance with baggage from upper level curbside to ticket counter. Skycaps expect a gratuity for this service. Minimum guideline is 50 cents per bag.

General Parking Information
There is a 3-level parking garage across the terminal driveway that offers two areas of parking: Short-Term is for stays of a few minutes to a few hours and Long-Term is for overnight or extended stays. An overhead sign as you approach the garage indicates what lane you should be in for your choice of parking. Parking for the first 30 minutes of the first day is free.

Short-Term parking is most convenient for those meeting arriving passengers, or parking just a few hours. It is located the closest to the terminal on the upper and ground levels of the garage.

Long Term parking is offered on all three garage levels. If the garage is full, you should use surface lots A, B or C for Long-Term parking. You may enter surface lots A or B from the underground level of the parking garage. Row 4 leads to surface Lot B. Row 8 leads to surface Lot A. You may enter surface lot C by turning right at the traffic as you enter the airport.

A free shuttle service is available between Long-Term Lots A, B, & C and the Terminal Building. There are pedestrian shelters provided.

Republic Parking System operates the public parking facility at Memphis International Airport.

Handicapped Parking
There is designated, clearly marked handicapped parking available and there is no charge for handicap parking provided that you have a "hang tag" or appropriately designated license plate. On the blank side of your parking ticket- please write your "hang tag" handicap permit number, the expiration date, your license plate number, your drivers license number, home telephone number, and your signature. Please hand it to the person in the booth upon exiting. These parking spaces are located as follows:

• Lower Level has 28 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Ground Level has 18 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Upper Level has 8 handicapped spaces in short term only.
• Handicapped Parking is also available for the traveling public along the passenger drive in arrivals and departures. Upper Level has 3 spaces and Lower Level has 4 spaces.

NOTE: Security procedures prohibit parking or waiting on the terminal drives. Only immediate loading and unloading of passengers is permitted. Unattended vehicles may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
