Merced Municipal MCE Airport Overview

Merced Regional Airport / Macready Field MCE (renamed from 'Merced Municipal Airport') serves Central California's City of Merced.
The a small airport encompasses 538 acres, serving Merced and surrounding areas as non-hub commercial airport, as well as a general aviation airport. The Airport is also designated as an Air Service Development Zone by the Dept. of Transportation.
The Airport is located in Merced and can easily be reached by Hwy 99, using the 16th Street exit (turn right at V Street, merge into left lane and continue to Grogan Avenue; turn right on Grogan and left on MacReady Drive..
Great Lakes Airline (1-800-554-5111), which currently offers daily flights to Ontario International (near Los Angeles) & Las Vegas McCarran airports, with numerous connections to US and Mexican cities.

The small passenger terminal at Merced Regional Airport offers easy check-in, no long lines and a professional TSA baggage inspection services. The passenger waiting area is close to the ground transportation and has a vending machine. Drop-off and pick-up at the terminal entrance is allowed, as long as drivers stay with their vehicle and drive off immediately after passenger drop-off/pick-up.

Parking options at Merced Regional Airport include free short- and long-term parking lots.

To get from Merced Regional Airport to your destination, you can rent a car from Avis, take a taxi (City Express 209-723-000 or Merced Taxi Cab (209-722-8294), use the Merced County Transit bus (209-384-3111) or the YARTS bus (877-98-YARTS). Amtrak provides daily stops in Merced with connections along the San Joachin line (209-722-6862).
