AirBART bus (tel. 510-569-8310 or bart.gov - located between Terminals 1 & 2, third curbside - connects to the BART Coliseum/Oakland Airport station. AirBART ticket vending machines accept all major debit/credit cards at shuttle stop on the third curbside. The accessible AirBART bus runs daily every 10 mins, until midnight - starting Mon-Sat 5am, Sun/Holidays 8am). Bags can be put on overhead rack or under your feet.
BART Train (tel. 510-465-BART or visit bart.gov) is located at Coliseum / Oakland Airport Station at 7200 San Leandro Street, Oakland. From there you can connect to all BART red, yellow, blue, green & orange lines lines. Bags can be put on on your lap on BART. (for Bart map open bart.gov/stations/index.aspx.).
Amtrak (1-800-872-7245) is located in Oakland, at Jack London Square station. From there you can take
(a) the Capitols train to either San Jose or Sacramento;
(b) the Coast Starlight to either Los Angeles or Seattle;
(c) the California Zephyr to Chicago via Reno.
Transfer to San Francisco Airport : Board the AirBART bus - located between Terminals 1 & 2, third curbside - to the BART Coliseum/Oakland Airport station and take the BART Daly City line - transferring at Balboa Park station to the SFO Line. Estimated time from OAK to SFO: 53-60 mins.
