terminal d to jMay 25, 201310I will be traveling on aa which comes into terminal d. I am going to set up a global entry interview which i guess is in terminal j. How long does it take to get between terminal d and jmrjond66posted on Sat, May 25[ Reply ][ Like ]1. MIA's three passenger terminals are arranged in a semi-circle: North Terminal with Concourse D & Customs facilities; Central Terminal, & South Terminal with Concourses H & J. 2. International Arrivals from Concourses D are processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals Facility. Unless you have gone through US customs clearance by participating airports, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag on level 2, from which you can then connect to your next flight. The new passport control center with 72 processing has six lanes specifically for Global Entry program members - inquire when going through passport check for location of Global Entry interview.samay13posted on Sat, May 25

FROM WHERE I WILL TAKE THE BOARDING PASS? I HAVE ONLY 1 HOUR BETWEEN FLIGHTS.LUMIposted on Sat, Mar 2At MIA, both American & American Eagle use Concourses E (Central Terminal) and Concourse D (North Terminal) with corresponding gates. The Skyride Connector is a moving walkway on level 3, connecting all terminals (with 4 stops inside Concourse D). I suggest you open www.ifly.com/mia then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.sumar13posted on Sun, Mar 3On the way to Barbados you can get both of your boarding passes and have your bags checked all the way though to Barbados in Washington DC. On the way back you'll get both boarding passes and have your bag checked to Washington DC in Barbados, but you will reclaim your bag in immigration in Miami and re-check it with American after going through customs.ZAPposted on Sun, Mar 3

meeting pointFeb 8, 201310On Saturday 23rd. a friend of mine is arriving from Las Vegas flight AA 1614 and his wife is arriving a couple of hours later to the same terminal (flight AA928). Where does he meet her? I know that both flights arrive to Concourse D, but my friend's flight is domestic, and her flight is international.Juanposted on Thu, Feb 7At MIA, American Airlines uses the Central Terminal with Concourse E and the North Terminal with Concourse D. If your friends are international arrivals, they will be processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals facility and could meet up in the Arrivals hall near the info desk. Baggage and customsDec 16, 201220I'm from Brazil and go to Orlando, with connection in MIA. My air company is AAAssisposted on Wed, Dec 12Assuming that you use American Airlines for both legs of your trip, note that AA uses both Concourse D in the North Terminal and Concourse E in the Central Terminal. All international arrivals will be processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals Facility. There you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bag on level 2, from which you can then connect to your next flight. On the second level are 5 baggage claim carousels, and there is access to the Sky Train on either side, connecting to all other gates. MIA is easy to navigate with plenty of directional signs.thdec12posted on Thu, Dec 13

Baggage, checkpoint and customsOct 20, 201210Travel from Spain to MIA with AA to a domestic destination in the Caribbean... How is the drill?????? Thanks.TGposted on Fri, Oct 19All international arrivals at MIA need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). There are two Immigrations & Customs areas - international arrivals will be processed either at (a) Arrivals E, level 1 of the Central Terminal, or at (b) Arrivals J, Level 3 of the South Terminal - depending on their airline - in your case AA arrives in Concourse E. Assuming you use AA also for your connecting flight, you will depart from the North Terminal, Concourse D - due to its length this Concourse is served by the Skytrain, stopping near gates D17, then at gate D20-25 area nd D26-39 area. The Skyride connector - a moving walkway - also connects all terminals.saoct12posted on Sat, Oct 20
