I'm flying from NYC to MIA then to Curacao. My layover is 90 minutes.
Do i need to grab my checked bags and then check back in and go through TSA again? And is this enough time for me to do so?
Hello, I am connecting from washington dc to the Carribean in Miami on American airlines, all one ticket. I am travelling with kids, and I would like to know if the transit in miami is long, and required to pass customs again ?
Thank you for your help, god bless you!
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Miami on your way out of the country is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have about an hour between my arrival flight at D50 and my departure at E22 -- both AA, booked together as one trip, and I will have 2 checked bags. Is an hour sufficient time to get between terminals/gates on foot? And, can I get from one to the other without having to go through security again?
Thank you
Yes, if the first flight is domestic you can get between those two gates inside security. You have enough time.
I am flying from atlanta to Miami then to Madrid. How do I pick up my luggage and transfer? Flying in On AA and out to Madrid on Air Europa. How much time do I need??
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? If it's two separate reservations you need at least 2.5 hours.
Yes 2 separate reservations - thanks!
I arrive Mia on UAL at 11:02 am. Leave Mia on AA 12:45pm. Is :
1. is there sufficient time to have UAL deliver luggage to AA flight
2. is there sufficient time to retrieve luggage from UAL and check it in on AA flight.
Thx
United won't transfer your bags to American, you have to transfer them yourself, which you barely have enough time to do if everything goes perfectly.
On January 11th, I'm flying American from Phoenix to Miami, and then LATAM from Miami to Brazil.
AA departing Phoenix 3:10 pm, arriving Miami 9:30 pm.
LATAM flight departing Miami 11:00 pm.

After flight changes by American, I'm worried about the shortened layover in Miami of 90 minutes.
Is this a realistic connection time with luggage? Or should I change to an earlier flight from Phoenix, which would involve a 6.5 hour layover in Miami? Thanks.

It's possible but the new connection time leaves no time to spare because you'll have to go across the airport and through security in a different terminal.
How do I get from Gate E4 to Gate D4?
You can walk between them.
How do I get from Gate E$ to Gate D4?
I am flying in from Houston to Miami to connect to a flight to JFK with only a 45 minute connection. It is with AA so I don’t think I’ll need to change terminal. Should this be enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
AA changed my flight from St. thomas , usvi to arrive to Mia at 4:54pm and I have to flight with Delta for 6:15pm. Do I have enough time ?
With no checked bags that's just enough time. With checked bags, that's probably not enough time.
