We arrive into MIA on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London connecting onto Nassau with Bahama airlines ... we have 2 hours... is this enough time - can our luggage be checked all the way from London?
You will have to go through US immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags with Bahamasair, go through security and to your departure gate. 2 hours is not reasonably enough time to do that.
Hi! Im flying from Panama to Madrid next week, via Miami, i have a 7 hour layover. My question is, can i go out to the city and then comeback? A friend is picking me up at 12m to have lunch and then ill head back to the airport!

Arriving in Miami at 11am, departing at 7pm to Madrid.
You won't be out of customs at noon. Maybe 12:30 or 1. You really don't have time for much more than a long lunch.
Yes im aware of that, maybe around 1:30 i'll be out, and back at 3pm to be go inside, but i CAN go out then? Like, allowed to.
Yes, once you clear customs you are outside security and free to go where you want.
do i have to go thru security again in miami?
If both flights are on AA then you do not have to go through security again in Miami.
We will be booking a flight from Santiago, Chile, to Tampa, via Miami. What is a safe length of layover in Miami? Both flights onAmerican Airlines. Also, will checked bags automatically go to the next flight?
You will have to claim your bags in Miami to take them through US Customs. You'll want at least 2 hours in Miami.
What time is the flight from sdq airport 10:00 am arriving to Miami
Where does this plane land?
Good Day,

I am flying on AA from San Juan, PR through Miami Airport to Turks and Caicos, I have a 1 hour & 28 m layover. Will that be enough time to clear immigration and customs and catch the AA connection to TCI. Also, will I have to pick up my baggage in Miami or will it be check through?

Thanks and Cheers
There is no US Immigration and customs when leaving the US. Flights from Puerto Rico to the mainland are considered domestic flights. All you have to do in Miami is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I am arriving to Miami international from the Caribbean at 11am Saturday at terminal D. I have a connecting flight to Europe at 3pm the same day at terminal E or F.
Is 4hrs transit time enough to pass through immigration, customs, check in againa nd pass through security? I cannot miss my flight as the airline does not have another till 4 days later.
Yes, that is enough time. Is it two separate reservations or one reservation? What airlinea re you flying out on? Where in the Caribbean are you coming from?
I arrive on AA to Mia at 7.35pm flight from saint Lucia...my connecting flight on AA is at 9.25pm to LAS VEGAS. I have a British passport..will I have enough time to make connection? Also since I'm flying in to Mia from the Caribbean will my checked luggage go straight to next AA flight ?
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You will have to claim your bags in Miami to take them through US Customs, then immediately re-check them.
We are flying from Tampa to Miami, then to Punta Cana, DA. Our layover time is only 45 minutes. Will this give us enough time to make our connecting flight??
Yes, if both flights are on AA all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
