We are departing from Las Vegas Flight 1674 at 11pm on American Airlines arriving in Miami at 7:07am with 3hrs 26mins stop-over, then departing again at 10:33am to Panama. Is this enough time to transit? Worried about the time difference affecting this... Would Expedia bookings show the time zone which ur entering or do we have to calculate the time difference ourselves?
Yes, that is plenty of time. Expedia bookings show the time of where you will be. All you have to do in Miami on the way to Panama is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank u! Appreciated...
We are travelling to STX from PHL with a 50 minute connection on American Airlines. Scheduled to arrive at D4 at 1114am (fingers crossed!) and depart out of E33 at 1205pm. This was booked as a legal connection on but I didn't realize at the time that there was a terminal change! What are our chances of making this connection? Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time. D and E are connected inside security by a walkway.
I'm flying on American Airlines Newark NJ to Quito, Ecuador arriving in Miami at 4:23 pm and going out at 5:40 again on AA, will I have enough time to make this connection?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Miami on your way to Quito is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have a flight booking on American Airlines from London UK arriving in Miami at 17:50 and I leave with American Airlines to San Juan Puerto Rico at 19:40. Is this enough time?
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
As many before me I wonder if we have enough time for our connecting flight tomorrow. We come from SJO with AA and land at 3:40 pm at gate D39 and go to CUR with AA from gate D38 at 5:55 pm.
I dont know if the luggage will be checked through, we bought 1 ticket for the entire trip. EU citizen. Any tips to do it as fast and smooth as possible?
I read something about an orange ticket for short connections?
Your bags will be checked through. You will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security. You should have enough time.
We are flying to Punta Cana via Miami. we are flying with BA (London- Miami) and AA (Miami - Punta Cana). We have a 4 hour connection going there but only 2 hours coming home. I have called BA and they said 1hr 30 mins is the standard time but have read so many horror stories. Will I have to re-check in all the bags etc as it is still a AA flight?. Will 2 hours be enough time? Please let me know- first time traveller!!!!
I am travelling to Punta Cana in december via Miami. We are travelling with BA (London-Miami) and AA (Miami - Punta Cana). We have a 4 hour connection time going there but coming home only 2 hours. Do we have to re-check in our bags etc like many have said on here as it is a connecting flight? also, do you think we have enough time? First time traveling long haul! Thanks a lot
You should have enough time both ways. From what I can tell, connecting to BA is still considered ITI and you don't have to claim your bags in Miami.
Hi, I am looking to book flights from Manchester to Miami arriving at 16.35 (Thomas Cook) and then getting a flight 18.10 to Turks & Caicos with American Airlines. I have a U.K. Passport, is this enough time for transit? I suspect not but it's the only flight to Provo that day...
No, it's not enough time because the American flight will leave from the opposite end of the airport and you'll have to transfer your bags yourselves.
I am flying American Airlines key west to Miami. Arrive in MIA at 12:50 p.m. Connecting to a flight on American Airlines that departs for BWI at 1:41 p.m.
Will I and my luggage make this connection flight?
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
We will be leaving barbados at 2:50 pm and arriving in miami at 8pm.. with a layover and our flight out the next morning is at 7:46am... my question is, when we get to Miami will we go through customs and get our baggage cleared that night so in the morning we won't have to go through customs and can just directly check our baggage?.. all with American airline. Thank you.
Yes, you will go through US Immigration and Customs in the evening when you arrive.
Awesome! Thank you! .. so in the morning we will just check the luggage as normal domestic flight?
And on the way down to barbados is the samething... will we not go through customs in miami but only when we get to barbados?
Is your first flight domestic or international?
Springfield missouri to Dallas to Miami (layover night in miami ) and then to barbados the next morning. ... then our return flight is in that same reverse order.
