The airport is fully compliant with the Schengen Agreement and is accessible accordingly.

In order to reserve the services of Sala Amica, it is necessary to inform the airline company in advance of the trip (when the flight is booked). After that, the airline company will contact Sala Amica's staff to provide the required assistance.

Sala Amica's Assistance for Departing Travelers:: Passengers with special needs are welcomed at the airport by Sala Amica's staff who assist them with the baggage check-in and the security screening. Then, the same staff accompany the disabled passengers to the gate where a special bus equipped with wheelchair lifts (it is called ambulift) may be used for boarding operations.
If travelers like shopping, they can be taken into the airport retail outlets and restaurants before boarding.

SalaAmica's Assistancefor Arriving Travelers: Your airline must inform the airport about the arrival of passengers requiring special assistance. Sala Amica's staff will be waiting for the travelers with special needs and will accompany them to the passport control, the baggage claim and the exit till they leave the airport area. At Terminal 1 the main Sala Amica room is situated on the second floor (+ 2 at check-in), near entrance door 11. Two more Sala Amica rooms are located at the gates. At Terminal 2 an assistance service point is available in the check-in area.
Travellers with disabilities can find special elevators equipped with Braille code, as well as telephone booths equipped with Braille code

Terminal 1 & 2 - Short-Stay Parking: Free for disabled.
At Multilevel Parking P1 - 67 free parking spaces for the disabled. Intercom telephones connected directly with "Sala Amica " room dedicated to the passengers needing special assistance.
Terminal 1 - Long-Term Parking P2 - 28 car parking spaces for the disabled are available.
Terminal 1 Outdoor Parking P3: - 35 car parking spaces for disabled are available.
Terminal 2 - Indoor & Outdoor Parking: 56 car parking spaces for the disabled are available
