Main Terminal / Concourses at Milan Malpensa MXP Airport

Milan Malpensa Airport has two passenger terminals - T1 & T2 - also referred to as 'Malpensa 1' and 'Malpensa  2'While Malpensa 1 is considered an intercontinental airport  offering domestic, international & intercontinental flights -Malpensa 2 is mostly used for low-cost & charter flights. As the terminals are at different locations and divided by a runway, a free frequent shuttle bus connects T1 & T2 every 20 minutes, taking about 15 minutes.

Terminal 1 (Milan Malpensa 1)  - Terminal 1 is the main terminal, divided into three sections - 1A handling domestic & intra-Schengen flights; 1B handling non-Schengen flights, (1C under construction).  It has on level 0 Arrivals facilities, on level 1 rental car counters & train station, on level 2 a total of 198 check-in counters, some ticketing desks, 28 passport control desks, and access to 60 departure gates at 26 'fingers', and on level 3 restaurants. T1 also houses the Sheraton Hotel.
Terminal 1 has subtarreanan access to some remote gates; the ground level is the Arrivals level; level 1  lead to the gate areas, level 2 is the check-in level and level 3 houses restaurants.

Terminal 2 (Malpensa 2)  - intended for low-cost airlines & charters - has 58 check-in desks, 23 gates with five 'fingers', 14 passport control desks & 28 aircraft stands, and currently only serves EasyJet.

Services and amenities at Milan Malpensa Airport include:
Wireless access via hotspots in Arrivals, gate & restaurant areas; and a business center (tel. +39.02.58581199) in T1, & Arrivals B, ground floor.
A pharmacy (tel. +39.02.58583013) at T2, Departures, and a first-aid station (tel. 39.02.48483013) at T2 Departures and T1 (Arrivals, ground floor and Boarding B, Departures), a post office;
Currency exchange services: Forexchange at T2, gates D & at Arrivals; and at T1, check-in, second floor, gates B, first floor, Arrivals A, ground floor, Arrivals B, ground floor;
Banks & ATM machines: Banco Popular at T2, Departures & T1 check-in 2d floor, and ATM machine at gates A, first floor; Banca Sondrio with AM machine at T1 check-in, 2d floor; Banca Naz del Lavoro with ATM machine at T1, at Arrivals B, ground floor; and Deutsche Bank's ATM machine at T2 Arrivals;  
Other services include left luggage and wardrobe, cell phone rentals; chapel and more.
 
Transfer  to Linate Airport is available via scheduled bus service.
