My flight back from vancouver has a layover in msp before returning to IND. is 46 minutes enough time to go through customs and meet my connecting flight?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Vancouver is on-time.

I have an hour and forty-one minute layover in MSP coming from HND (Tokyo), is this layover enough time to go through immigration and checked baggage before my connecting flight?

Yes, it is enough time if the flight from Tokyo is on-time.

Do I need to clear US Customs if I am flying from Amsterdam via Minneapolis to Edmonton, Canada? If so, do I need to pick up my luggage?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security and to your departure gate.

My flight is from SFO-DCA with a 1h10 layover at MSP at 6AM, Terminal 1. Both flights are on Delta. Is that enough time to make it comfortably? And will I need to go through security again with only a carry-on?

Yes, that is plenty of time. No, you don't have to go through security again.

  • 34 minute layover

A little concerned. Flying into MSP (never have before) and only have 34 minutes timeframe for connecting flight. Is this even possible?

Yes, that is possible but leaves no time to spare in case of delays.

Fly from CDG to MSP to SEA (Delta booking) with Air France flight from Paris to MSP, then Delta flight after 2 hour layover to SEA. Will we go thru Immigration & Customs in MSP? Do we have to claim & re-check bags with Delta? Is 2 hours enough time?

Yes, in MSP you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the recheck desk then go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.

We arrive at MSP from FNT on Delta at 10:40am to connect with an 11:29am Delta flight out to PDX. We only have carry on luggage. Is 43 minutes enough time? We've never gone through MSP.

Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Flint is on-time.. MSP is pretty easy.

I'll be flying into MSP from BWI and need to connect to YXE (Saskatoon, Canada) in 47 minutes and I'm worried I wont make it. Is it typically far between these? And I assume I will have to go through security again

Yes, that is enough time. No you will not have to go through security again as long as both flights are on Delta.

I have a flight from LAX to MSP, then MSP to Amsterdam. Is 40 min enough time to make it to my connecting flight?

It's possible, but leaves no time to spare if the flight from LAX is delayed.

  • Short transfer time

Hiya, I'm arriving in St Pauls at 19.08 from Dayton, to connect with Heathrow flight at 19.45. That looks really tight at 37 mins. Will I have to collect baggage to transfer it myself or will it be done for me? Would I be better with hand luggage? Bit concerned about this! Thanks for any help.

You don't have to do anything with your bags if both flights are on Delta/Virgin Atlantic on the way to London. It is possible but leaves very little time to spare.

  • Best route through MSP

Hi.I will be travelling from Europe via ORD to MSP with AA, then have an onward flight with DL. I'm pretty certain that AA won't interline my checked bag, so although travelling domestically by the time I'm at MSP, I will have to exit the secure area to collect and recheck my hold bag. It looks like the AA flight usually arrives at gate E14, and the onward flight usually leaves from the opposite end of the terminal at B gates. I should get TSA-pre, and at the moment my booking shows as Sky Priority (although I'm not sure this will stick - I have status with AA, but not DL...). The Connection time is 1hr28min. Any hints for the best route through the terminal? The terminal map suggests I could either return up to level 2 from baggage claim and clear security at the E gate end, or head downstairs to the transit level to check my bag in, then take the tram to the Transit centre and clear security at the Skyway.

There's a big checkpoint pretty close to the main Delta baggage check counters - just use that. It's not an easy walk from the baggage claim back to the skyway.

    Thanks!

I'm flying into MSP, on Delta, with a 40 min. layover, connection to KLM Royal Dutch airline. How far apart are the gates & will this be enough time?

Delta uses almost all gates in the Lindbergh terminal. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.

I am flying from Cancun to msp then Seattle. At msp will have enough time to go through customs and make my connecting flight to Seattle? It's an 1 hour 27 mins. Also I know clearing customs is for my bags, but will I have to go through security again? Is there a separate line for customs? I am confused about the whole process.

I meant 1 hour 27 mins is my layover time.

Yes, that should be enough time. You go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security.

Hi I would be flying from SFO to LHR and having a 59 minute layover at MSP, both flights inbound and outbound are Delta. Can I make it?

Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Thanks a lots, I rappreciate, now I am felling good.

  • 39 min layover from gate A to gate F departure enough time

We arrive on delta at gate A13 and need to make it to gate F7 in 39 minutes. Is that enough time? Is it best to use the tram or use the connector to G and walk that way? We are in the front of the plane arriving.

I would use the connector, the tram is slow. That's enough time if your first flight is on-time.
