I am flying from Amsterdam to MSP then on to Omaha, NE. I'll land at MSP at 12:40 pm on Aug 6th and then my flight to Omaha is at 1:56 pm. Is an hour and 20 minutes enough to go through customs? I'll have checked bags.

Traveling tomorrow, Monday from Narita, Japan to MSP, with a domestic connecting flight. I have only 1 hr 37 min to go through immigration and locate my next flight's gate. Is that enough time?

on sept 28th we arrive in MSP from Saskatoon, 1hr 10 mins to connect to NY JFK , is that possible? our arrival is 9 am

It's possible. There won't be any other international arrivals at that time of the morning so the lines at immigration and customs should be short. It should be enough time if your flight from Saskatoon is on-time.

Hi, I'll be traveling from Paris CDG airport to Minneapolis on July 28th. I will land in Minneapolis at 12:45 pm and will have to catch a connection to Duluth leaving at 2:15 pm; does that give me enough time to go through immigration and customs?

That is barely enough time, but it should be doable.

Traveling on a Monday in November from LaGuardia in New York to Grand Rapids via Minneapolis. Both flights are operated by Delta. In Terminal 1, are all concourses accessible without having to re-enter security? First time flying via MSP. Help appreciated.

Yes, all Delta gates at MSP are in the Lindbergh terminal and connected inside security.

Coming on Delta Flight form Vancouver and arriving at 6:11pm - connecting Delta Flight departing to Amsterdam at 7:24pm...Will I have enough time to get to connecting flight (1 hr 13 minutes)?? & Should I pick up my luggage and recheck? Thanks

All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate which will both be in the Lindbergh terminal. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver and there is no US Customs when leaving the US. You should have plenty of time.

Hi I bought a flight from LA to Amsterdam (Delta) I will have a transfer on an international flight in Minneapolis in 48 minutes its is possible a transit from flight number from LA KL 5583 to MSP, nad from MSP to Amsterdam KL6060 within 48 min and I worry that I can lost a lot of time for passport control and I think I will not have a flight from the same Concourse/gates? it will be my first time in MSP airport

There is no passport control when exiting the US. All Delta gates at MSP are connected inside security and chances are both flights will be pretty close together. You have enough time if your flight from LA is on-time.

OK, THANKS FOR REPLY SO THERE IS NO PASSPORT CONTROL BETWEEN GATES THANKS

No, no airports in the US have passport control just to access a gate area.

I am flying from Amsterdam to MSP then on to Omaha, NE with a layover time of 2 hours, 4 minutes at MSP. Is this enough time to get through customs. I'll have checked bags.

Yes, that should be enough time.

I have a flight from Grand Forks, North Dakota that lands at 6:50PM. I then catch a 7:25PM flight to Baltimore. I will have to connect from concourse A/B to concourse C/F/G. Is 35 minutes enough? Also, what gates should I hope to arrive and depart from to make the easiest connection?

35 minutes is enough. All gates at MSP are connected inside security. However, there's not much time to spare if your flight from Grand Forks is late.

  • How much time do I need at Immigration office?

Hi, I'm flying from Frankfurt, Germany, to MSP and from there to Chicago Midway with Sun Country Airlines. At MSP I have to go through Immigration office due to my immigrant visa activation. I'll have a lay over of 2h 45Min, will that be enough time for the registration at the immigration office and will I catch my flight to Midway then?

It should be possible. You can check in for your Sun Country flight online before you leave Germany to save some time. Both flights will be in the Humphrey Terminal.

Hi, I will be arriving through delta flight at 6:10 pm from YXE and my next flight leaves to Amsterdam at 7:30 pm which is delta flight again. Do you guys think I have enough time to make this connection.

That should be enough time. Because Saskatoon does not have US Immigration preclearance, in Minneapolis you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.

  • Connection in Minneapolis from Vancouver to Atlanta

Hi I have a connection in Minneapolis from Vancouver, Canada to Atlanta, and I have 50 minutes to make the connection. I'm wondering what the possibility of flights from vancouver to minneapolis being delayed is, and if I have enough time to make my connecting flight to Atlanta?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. Your flight could be delayed up to 25 minutes and you'd still have a good chance of making your Atlanta flight. If it is delayed more and you miss it, Delta has lots of flights from MSP to Atlanta.

  • Do I go thru customs at Amsterdam?

I am flying from Omaha to Venice with stops in Minneapolis and Amsterdam. I have 1 hour to switch planes in Amsterdam. Will I need to go thru customs at this point?

In Amsterdam you will go through Schengen passport control before entering the pier to board your flight to Venice. You don't have to do anything with your baggage.

Hello, I am flying in to MSP from Iceland on Iceland Air, arriving 6:05pm. I would like to then take a flight leaving at 7:40pm on Delta (booked as a separate ticket). Would this be enough time to clear customs and change terminals if I only have carry-on luggage and sit near the front of the Iceland Air plane?

My arrival is on a Sunday night in August.

With Carry-on only that would probably be sufficient, but depends on the Icelandair flight arriving on-time. To save time check in online for your Delta flight before leaving Iceland.
