  • 45 min internatonal connection
    Aug 25, 2015
hi im travelling on 12/14/15 from las vegas to london via MSP but with only 45 minutes to get my connection. Will we have enough time? and also if my first flight is late getting into MSP would i be automatically put onto the next flight? (at the cost of the airline etc) especially with imigration etc? thanks

There is no immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time if your flight is on-time. If you miss your connection you will be put on the next flight free of charge, but there is only one daily flight from MSP to London.

  • possible?

Arriving 9pm to C catching intl flight out of G boarding at 8:50 - no checked bags any chance?

What time does the flight from G actually depart? It's possible to make a 30 minute connection at MSP if the first flight is on-time.

  • Is 36 minutes connection
    Aug 18, 2015
Is 36 minutes enough time to catch a flight in Terminal 1? Incoming and outgoing flights are both with Delta

Yes, that is enough time as long as the first flight is on-time and you hurry.

  • Enough time for transfer?
    Aug 16, 2015
Hi, I am flying in from Regina Canada landing at 6:11, my flight onward to Houston leaves at 7:36. Since Regina doesn't have preclearance, is that enough time for me to go through customs again, re-check my bags, etc.?

That should be enough time. MSP doesn't get a lot of international arrivals so its rarely crowded going through immigration there.

  • 40 minutes long enough for layover?
    Aug 16, 2015
I will be flying into Msp on a Friday evening and departing to Amsterdam. My layover is only 40 minutes, and both flights are delta. Will this be enough time?

Yes, that is enough time if your first flight is on-time, but obviously doesn't leave much time to spare if it is delayed.

  • Connection from BWI to MSP to catch flight to Paris
    Aug 9, 2015
We have 45 minutes to get from our DL light from Baltimore to the international Delta flight to Paris. Is that enough time?

Yes, that is enough time if your first flight is on-time. All Delta gates at MSP are connected inside security.

  • 1 hour and 20 minute for Customs
    Aug 16, 2015
I am flying from Amsterdam to MSP then on to Omaha, NE. I'll land at MSP at 12:40 pm on Aug 6th and then my flight to Omaha is at 1:56 pm. Is an hour and 20 minutes enough to go through customs? I'll have checked bags.

It's possible, it's 10 minutes below the recommended time but MSP is not a very busy airport and the lines are usually short there.

  • 1 hr 37 min layover

Traveling tomorrow, Monday from Narita, Japan to MSP, with a domestic connecting flight. I have only 1 hr 37 min to go through immigration and locate my next flight's gate. Is that enough time?

  • short connection time
    Jul 27, 2015
on sept 28th we arrive in MSP from Saskatoon, 1hr 10 mins to connect to NY JFK , is that possible? our arrival is 9 am

It's possible. There won't be any other international arrivals at that time of the morning so the lines at immigration and customs should be short. It should be enough time if your flight from Saskatoon is on-time.

  • Connection Minneapolis-Duluth
    Jul 26, 2015
Hi, I'll be traveling from Paris CDG airport to Minneapolis on July 28th. I will land in Minneapolis at 12:45 pm and will have to catch a connection to Duluth leaving at 2:15 pm; does that give me enough time to go through immigration and customs?

That is barely enough time, but it should be doable.

  • 1 hour, 7 minute connection
    Jul 25, 2015
Traveling on a Monday in November from LaGuardia in New York to Grand Rapids via Minneapolis. Both flights are operated by Delta. In Terminal 1, are all concourses accessible without having to re-enter security? First time flying via MSP. Help appreciated.

Yes, all Delta gates at MSP are in the Lindbergh terminal and connected inside security.

  • 1 hr 13 min connection
    Jul 24, 2015
Coming on Delta Flight form Vancouver and arriving at 6:11pm - connecting Delta Flight departing to Amsterdam at 7:24pm...Will I have enough time to get to connecting flight (1 hr 13 minutes)?? & Should I pick up my luggage and recheck? Thanks

All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate which will both be in the Lindbergh terminal. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver and there is no US Customs when leaving the US. You should have plenty of time.

  • Transfer
    Jul 24, 2015
Hi I bought a flight from LA to Amsterdam (Delta) I will have a transfer on an international flight in Minneapolis in 48 minutes its is possible a transit from flight number from LA KL 5583 to MSP, nad from MSP to Amsterdam KL6060 within 48 min and I worry that I can lost a lot of time for passport control and I think I will not have a flight from the same Concourse/gates? it will be my first time in MSP airport

There is no passport control when exiting the US. All Delta gates at MSP are connected inside security and chances are both flights will be pretty close together. You have enough time if your flight from LA is on-time.

No, no airports in the US have passport control just to access a gate area.

Yes, that should be enough time.

I have a flight from Grand Forks, North Dakota that lands at 6:50PM. I then catch a 7:25PM flight to Baltimore. I will have to connect from concourse A/B to concourse C/F/G. Is 35 minutes enough? Also, what gates should I hope to arrive and depart from to make the easiest connection?

35 minutes is enough. All gates at MSP are connected inside security. However, there's not much time to spare if your flight from Grand Forks is late.
