I'll be flying from Amsterdam to Seattle on 4th of july and connecting at MSP. Both flights are with Delta and I have a 2 hour layover time (12:30-2:30pm). Will that be enough time for me to make my connecting flight?

    Yes, that is enough time.

I have about 40 minutes from arrival at B2 to boarding at G4 for an international flight. Is this reasonable at MSP?

Yes, that is possible if the first flight is on-time.

Hi we are contemplating booking a flight from Saskatoon to Orlando that has 75 minutes to go through customs in Minneapolis and change planes - is this enough time?

That's enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I have to check a bag in Montreal for my flight to Seattle. My layover is 50min. Will I need to pick up my checked luggage and check it back in at MSP? Will i have sufficient time to do so with a 50min layover? Thanks!

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. All you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

I'm flying from Kansas City to Cancun with a layover in Minneapolis. Where is the customs in Minneapolis? I'll have 3 kids with me & would like to be prepared & make sure we have enough time in between the domestic & international flight. Thanks!

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in MSP on your way to Cancun is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I am flying from Edmonton to Sioux falls on Delta. I have 1 hour 20 min layover in Minneapolis airport. Is this enough time to get off one plane and be there in time for the 30 min before flight loading of the next flight? How long does it take to walk from one end of the terminal to the other if the flights are the furthest apart they can be?

You have plenty of time. Since you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton, all you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You can get between any two Delta gates at MSP in 15 minutes.

Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • 1 Hour to Connect - Land from Iceland, connect to KC

We land from Iceland at 6 PM. Our flight to Kansas City is at 7 PM. Will we have to go thru customs and claim our bags? Will we have enough time to make our connection?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags, go through security and to your departure gate. If your flight from Iceland is on Delta you barely have a chance if everything goes perfectly. If your flight from Iceland is on Icelandair this connection is impossible.

NO! Definitely not enough time. Custom lines are really long and once you recheck your baggage-you exit the gate area and have to go through main security. Depending on the day you're traveling you could be in security line for up to 1/2 hour.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Vancouver is on-time.

Do I need to clear US Customs if I am flying from Amsterdam via Minneapolis to Edmonton, Canada? If so, do I need to pick up my luggage?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security and to your departure gate.

My flight is from SFO-DCA with a 1h10 layover at MSP at 6AM, Terminal 1. Both flights are on Delta. Is that enough time to make it comfortably? And will I need to go through security again with only a carry-on?

Yes, that is plenty of time. No, you don't have to go through security again.

A little concerned. Flying into MSP (never have before) and only have 34 minutes timeframe for connecting flight. Is this even possible?

Yes, that is possible but leaves no time to spare in case of delays.

Fly from CDG to MSP to SEA (Delta booking) with Air France flight from Paris to MSP, then Delta flight after 2 hour layover to SEA. Will we go thru Immigration & Customs in MSP? Do we have to claim & re-check bags with Delta? Is 2 hours enough time?

Yes, in MSP you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the recheck desk then go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.

We arrive at MSP from FNT on Delta at 10:40am to connect with an 11:29am Delta flight out to PDX. We only have carry on luggage. Is 43 minutes enough time? We've never gone through MSP.

Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Flint is on-time.. MSP is pretty easy.
