  • LHR to MSP to SLC - 1 hour 45 min transfer time enough?
    Jul 2, 2014

We are going to arrive in MSP from LHR (London Heathrow). I know that we will arrive at gate G. I have checked the previous arrival history and it's usually a G or D where they depart to SLC. Will 1 hour 45 mins be enough time to go through customs and recheck in everything and make the flight? I'm getting confusing information in other forums and wanted to check with you guys. please help!!

Yes, 105 minutes should be plenty of time for an intl->domestic connection at MSP.

Is 30 minutes between flight adequate time to make this connection

i have only my carry on bag

It will be very difficult if not impossible. Cape Air flights are frequently on-time but rarely early. A16 is also in Terminal 1 but the concourses aren't connected inside security. Sometimes you can get someone from Cape Air to drive you to your departure gate along the tarmac so you can stay inside security.

where is the tram located zbetween gate A and gate G?

There is no tram between A and G. The Tran runs between A and D. There is however, a walkway inside security that runs across the airport from an area near C12-13 to G17. If you need to go between A and G, that's the way to go.

  • 1 hour 22 minutes sufficient to catch connecting flight? PVR-MSP-PDX
    Mar 31, 2014

Little bit about me: I've never flown internationally before. I can walk, but not briskly. I have checked luggage. I have my US passport. Return flight is from PVR to PDX via MSP. Arrive in MSP from PVR at 6:33 pm on Delta. Then have 1hour 22 minutes (assuming on-time) to catch delta flight to PDX. Is this possible?

That should be enough time if your inbound flight is on-time. The Delta terminal at MSP is not terribly large and immigration should not be crowded.

We arrive in MSP from YQR at 0900 and are scheduled to depart at 1015 for CLT. Are we going to have enough time to clear Customs/Immigration? I know we don't pre-clear here in YQR.

You will probably have enough time, there will probably be virtually no lines at immigration, your biggest challenge will actually be getting through security again.

Transiting via MSP on 8 March, arriving from SJO (Costa Rica) and connecting to LHR (UK). We have just 1h30 between flights, both operated by Delta. Assuming no flight delays, is this likely to be do-able? I'm concerned there's a high chance of missing this connection, and MSP-LHR only operates once daily......

Yes, you should have enough time. Everything on Delta is in one terminal and should be fairly close together. If you miss your connection due to a delay they may be able to get you to London through Detroit, New York, or Amsterdam.

  • Enough Connection Time?

Arriving at MSP via Delta @ 1:45 pm. Connecting Delta flight departs MSP @ 2.15 pm. Is that enough time to get from one plane to the other?

If the first flight is on-time and you hurry, yes, it's probably enough time.

I am on Delta 2522 from RDU to Minneapolis connecting with Delta 1659 to Vancouver May 22. Is 59 minutes ample connecting time ?

Yes, that should be enough time. All Delta flights at MSP are fairly close together.

Deciding to book a flight from Venice to Denver I have a layover of 1h56m coming into Minneapolis from Amsterdam. I'm flying with a 2 year old and 4 luggages. Would the layover time be enough for me to pass custom, recheck my luggages and catch my plane? Please help planning on booking for the 28th of January.

Yes, that should be enough time. MSP does not see a lot of international flights so immigration is generally pretty fast there.

  • YYZ to MSP to BIL is 1h layover enough?

I'm flying Delta YYZ to MSP and continuing to BIL with Delta. Is a 1h layover enough time to make this connection? Thanks.

Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration in Toronto. All Delta gates at MSP are in the same terminal and within 20 minutes of each other.

  • fly into term C ned to catch flight from term G ,how long does it take

I need to get from the term c or A and get over to term G. Looking from the map is that a easy connection ? Looking at the map of the terminal looks like a connecting bridge for easy tansfer ? Thx

All those gates are inside a single terminal, the Lindbergh terminal. They are just different concourse. They are all connected beyond security and getting between them will take less than 20 minutes.

LEAVING ON DELTA FLIGHT 4913 FROM MSP ON DEC 12. WHAT GATE WILL WE BE DEPARTING FROM?

You won't know the exact gate until the day of your departure, but all Delta flights leave from the Lindbergh Terminal.

  • Is there a TERMINAL 3 at MSP. My itinerary states there is?

I drop granddaughter off at term 1 (Spirit Airlines Flt. 614) and pick her up 3 days later at terminal 3 (spirit Airlines Flt. 761). Where is Terminal 3?

Spirit uses the Humphrey Terminal 2 (H gates) at MSP (located at is located at 7150 Humphrey Drive (Zip Code: 55450). Meet her in the baggage claim area of level 1 or use the Cell Phone Lot. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/msp, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.
