Will I make a a connection in MSP (Delta) in 70 min? Departing city is Edmonton (YEG) and final destination is Cancun (CUN)

Yes, that should be plenty of time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton.

Is 78 min enough to go through customs at MSP and connect to an ATL flight. All on Delta. Thanks.

That is well below the recommended minimum International to Domestic connection time of 90 minutes. I would contact your travel agent or Delta and request a later flight to ATL.

Me and my family (wife and 2 younf kids) will be coming from LHR and connecting to DEN. Arrival is 3:41 and departure is at 5:38pm we will have to clear immigration and customs and recheck the bags. Will we have enough time to connect?

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • Getting from Concourse A to G with 32 minute connection?
    Apr 10, 2015

Our flight schedule was changed after we booked, leaving us with 32 minutes to connect from a Delta flight (operated by SkyWest) from ABR to a Delta flight to MCO. Looking at past schedules it looks like we might be going from concourse A to G. I'm hoping that on a Wednesday morning in late April, being the first flight of the morning we shouldn't be delayed, weather permitting. Would you be concerned about this short of a connection. We are traveling with 4 kids and will have gate checked strollers but we are really fast walkers. Would it be helpful to send my husband up ahead and let the connecting gate know we're minutes away or would that not matter at all?

It probably wouldn't matter. You will probably make it assuming your flight is on-time and you move quickly.

  • JAC to MSP to Narita, 70 mins

Hi, I am flying from JAC to MSP and flying off international to Narita. Layover time is 70mins. Will there be enough time for the domestic to international flight? Is the arrival terminal for the domestic flight and departure terminal for the international flight is the same? Or I have to rush from Humphrey to Lindberge terminal? I assume that the luggage will be checked through and I'll not need to collect luggage during the transit. All flights are with Delta.

All Delta flights are in the Lindbergh terminal. All you have to do in MSP is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Thanks so much for the response! It sure helps as I am travelling with 2 children, and dreaded the thought of rushing from terminal to teminal.

  • 33MIN CONNECTION TIME

Hi I am considering booking a flight that will be arriving from MCO to MSP and will have a connecting flight to SFO. The connection time is only 33 minutes, is that enough time to catch the connection flight? The flights are both Delta. Thanks.

Yes, that is enough time but it obviously leaves no time to spare if the first flight is late.

Hi, I am traveling to Boston from Vancouver BC and will have 1hour 2min layover in MSP (I know I will not need to clear customs as that will happen before I leave Vancouver). I know that Delta uses the same floor and areas, will this be enough time? Also when I am returning going from BOS-MSP-YVR I have a layover of 56min in MSP, will I have to clear customs in MSP or do I wait until I reach YVR? Will 56min be enough and say there is a delay with the flight, how long would I need in order to reach my flight on time? All flights are with Delta

Yes, that should be enough time both ways. On your way back to Vancouver you will go through Canadian customs in Vancouver. There is no US exit immigration/customs. If your flight is delayed they will rebook you on the next available flight, possibly connecting in Seattle, but possibly not until the next day (depends how late in the day your flight is).

  • Time enough for connection? Lansing-Minneapolis-NY

I will be flying in from Lansing MI on a plane where I understand all carryon luggage is stowed beneath. Flight arrives at 4:42pm. My flight to NY leaves at 5:37pm. Do I have enough time to get my luggage (which is carryon on to NY flight) and catch flight? I'd like to NOT have to pay to have carryon checked in, as it's small. Thanks!

Yes, that should be enough time. The MSP airport is fairly compact.

I am coming in from Portlwnd to MSP and then getting the flight to London. I am a bit worried about the very short time between flights /-will I have to identify my baggage in that time or does it just go straight to London?

No, you do not have to do anything with your baggage in MSP. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time and you hurry.

Will this be enough time to get on the plane to PUJ?? 40min seems do-able but for sure will be cutting it close. Thoughts???

    flying delta through out.

Yes, it is doable but no room to spare for delays.

  • Delta to Delta connection

I'm looking at booking a Delta flight from Madison, WI to Phoenix. I need to change planes in MSP airport. There are 36 minutes between flights. Is that enough time, since it's Delta to Delta transfer?

You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. It's possible, but there's obviously very little time to spare in case your first flight is delayed.

I am flying Vancouver-Minneapolis-Hartford, all on delta. I have 63 minutes in Minneapolis. Is this enough time to get through customs?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in MSP is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

I am landing in Dallas with 40 minutes to change flights to Guatemala City- will I make it?

Hi there! I am arriving from Amsterdam, and my final destination is Pittsburgh via MSP. It is my first time in USA. What should I do upon arrival to MSP in order not to miss my connection flight to Pittsburgh? Thanks!

You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.

Thanks ZAP, one more thing, by chance do you know is there any transfer service in MSP that I can request? Thanks.

No there is not, nor is it necessary. MSP is not a busy international airport and sees only a handful of international arrivals daily.

I am flying from Sioux Falls SD to Miami with a 53 min layover in MPLS. All delta flights wondering if this is enough time for me to make my connection. I am getting on a Cruise in Miami and would not want to miss a flight

Yes, if your first flight is on-time that should be plenty of time.
