  • Arriving From San Antonio Connecting Delta Flight to Amsterdam

I am landing in MSP from San Antonio on an Airbus A319. Delta's connecting flight is 40 minutes between landing in MSP and take off to Amsterdam on an Airbus A300-300. Is 40 minutes enough time to make the connection Delta flight to Amsterdam?

Correction: The Delta Flight to Amsterdam is on an Airbus A330-300.

Yes, that is enough time if your flight from San Antonio is on-time. All you have to do in MSP is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Hi, we have a flight from New York to Vancouver with a 1 hour 30 minute stop over at MSP on a Sunday. Both flights are Delta. Will we have to collect baggage and re-check it in and ourselves between flights. Or can we go straight between arrival and departure gates without collecting baggage, will this automatically go between aircraft? Will we have to go through security again because we are British Citizens. Thanks

All you have to do in MSP is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You will go Canadian Immigration and Customs when you arrive in Vancouver.

If my flight from Fayetteville NW lands at 18:47 and my connecting flight to Amsterdam is at 19:31, does this leave enough time to connect? It is only 44minutes at the airport.

All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, you have enough time.

I arrive from Vancouver via Delta Airlines Terminal 1 and have 48 minutes to go through security and catch a Delta Airlines flight to Newark also in Terminal 1. Is that enough time ?

You don't have to go through security, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, you have enough time.

just checking when i fly from ROM to LAX via MSP on Delta, will I have to collect bags? i assume i need to clear customs too or can that be done at LAX ? I have 1hr 52mins connection. thanks

Yes, at MSP you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.

My mother has a 31 minute layover between her Delta 4800 flight from Duluth into MSP and her Delta 2503 flight to Orlando on Friday afternoon. Is this enough time?

That's barely enough time as long as the flight from Duluth is on-time.

  • 41 minutes enough for checked bags to get on another domestic flight?

Hi - we are flying PSP - MSP - LGA on Monday 25th with a 41 min connection in MSP. I know it is only a walk between the gates, but is this enough time for a checked bag to make it between planes? Assuming the PSP leg is on time (!) obviously. Thanks!

Yes, it is possible if the first flight is on-time.

The layover in MSP is 1 hour 30 minutes (if previous flights on time!). I move very slowly as I have a disability; is that MSP layover time enough to go from the incoming SEA flight to the departing LHR flight? Both flights are on Delta - are the arriving and deparing gates in the same terminal, within easy walking distance? Thanks very much for your help.

All Delta flights are in the same Terminal and all their gates are connected inside security. You should have enough time.

The flight I am looking at has a 45 minute layover in MSP and then goes on to London. Would that be enough time to make the connection?

If the first flight is domestic yes that is enough time. Obviously it leaves little time to spare if the first flight is delayed.

hi. would a 36 minute layover be sufficient for traveling from orlando to st louis on delta with 2 adults with carry on bags?

It's possible. It obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from Orlando is delayed.

I Have a flight from Memphis to MSP then to CDC in Paris on august 24th. The layover at MSP is 1 hour and 11 minutes is that going to be enough time?

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do at MSP is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I have a flight from Cleveland (Express Jet) to Paris (Delta) through Minneapolis airport. will 41 minutes going to be enough to catch the flight to Paris? and will my baggage going to be transferred to the other flight even if i don't catch it? NOTE: I am not a U.S. citizen Thank you,

Yes, it should be enough time if the flight from Cleveland is on-time. Your citizenship doesn't matter, there is no US Customs or Immigration when leaving the US. Your bags may or may not be on the flight if you don't make it.

Flying in from Heathrow at 15.40 and I have a connecting flight to catch to Indianapolis at 17.21 - is this possible?

Yes, that should be enough time for an International to domestic connection at MSP.

I am flying in from Rapid city with Delta air and then flying on to Toronto. They have only given me 47 minutes to make my connecting flight. Is this going to be enough. Thankyou.

Yes, if your flight from Rapid City is on-time that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I'm traveling from Narita to Boston with a layover in MSP. My layover is an hour and a half. It seems like this would be enough time for some international flights but I've read that two other flights get in around the same time as the Narita flight. Would this be enough time to clear customs and board? Thanks!

It's enough time if everything goes smoothly. If there is a delay, there should still be enough time in the day for Delta to get you to Boston that evening.
