So I am flying from Iceland to Minneapolis and then to Seattle both of the flights are with Delta and were bought in a single ticket, will I have to check my luggage again at Minneapolis or how does this work? I have never had a connection flight before.
And how would it work on the way home since I do not go through customs then right?
You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. On the return all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am about to possibly book a flight that lands in Terminal Two and a flight that leaves from Terminal One. is this possible to navigate quickly? Or should I stick with a single terminal? And if it is possible, how much time should I give for it?
If you need to change terminals you need at least 2 hours between flights. Maybe more with checked baggage. They are on opposite sides of the airport.
Hello,

I will be arriving from Toronto and have a connection through MSP to Des Moines. My flight to Des Moines is a Westjet flight operated by Skywest Delta Connection. Is this a Delta Airlines flight? I believe I will pre-clear US Immigration at the Toronto airport. So then do I just need to walk from my arrival gate to my departure gate? Will 45 minutes be enough time?
Yes, all you have to do in MSP is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate and yes, both flights are Delta flights. You have enough time.
how long is terminal g
G is a concourse, not a terminal. You can walk the length of it in a few minutes.
Can 31 minutes is feasible for connection flights in MSP from SNA to PHL?
Yes, it's possible but it leaves no time to spare.
If our flight arrives at 8:57am on Thursday and our connecting flight boards at 11:05 and leaves at 11:45 but we want to visit someone meeting us at the airport will that be enough time to navigate the airport and get back through security? Not sure how big MSP airport is or how busy security gets at that time of day.
You have plenty of time to make your flight. I don't know how long you want to meet for though.
The previous reply didn't comment on luggage transfer. Is 47 mins. enough time?
Delta have just advised me that the flights for my itinerary have been changed.

The new flights are:
29 August DL4596 GTF to MSP due to arrive 09.18
Connection with DL1310 to JFK due to depart 10.15.

How much time is required to transfer me and my luggage to the JFK flight?
Being new to your airport, how easy is it to find my way to the departure lounge?
That is still plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Just follow the signs.
Thanks. What about transfer of luggage?
You don't have to do anything with your luggage.
A friend of ours (Japanese citizen) is coming to visit us in Canada. If her flight is from Haneda to Winnipeg, Canada but connects in Minneapolis will she have to do American immigration or just customs? And is 1 hour 35 minutes enough time to make that connection? Both the inbound flight and outbound to Winnipeg are with Delta.
Yes, she will have to go through US Immigration and Customs in Minneapolis and will need ESTA.
Is 1h 35m enough time to make that connection?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I will arrive from San Antonio, TX on Delta and the next leg of the trip goes to Paris-Charles DeGaul airport. Where will I look for the flight to Paris at the Minneapolis air port?
You will look at the monitors and find the gate for the flight to Paris. All you have to do on the way to Paris is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
