i am travelling from amsterdam to las vegas via msp terminal 1 on a british passport. the entire journey is with the same airline. will 2 hours be enough time to get through customs and check in for my connecting flight

Yes, that should be enough time. MSP is not a congested airport.

  • Long enough layover?

I am looking at flights from Winnipeg to Vegas. There is a layover at MSP but it is only 37 minutes long. Is that enough time to make the connecting flight? I haven't booked the flights yet so I don't know which Concourses I would be using.

As Winnipeg has U.S. preclearance facilities, you should be able to make the connection at Lindberg Terminal. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/msp, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

Is 1.5 hours enough time at MSP to clear customs from Paris and make connection to LAS? Both flts with Delta.

You arrive and depart at MSP Airport at the Lindbergh Terminal, which has Concourses A through G with corresponding gates - Delta uses all Concourses. Yo arrive at Concourse G and need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance, and re-check-in your bags where indicated. Thereafter, follow signs to your connecting Concourse & gate. For more information, I suggest you open www.ifly.com/msp, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

I'm arriving on Delta 1320 on Feb 1 2013 connecting to Delta 264 to Amsterdam at 7.25.pm Waht concourse does the Denver flight come into and from what concourse does the Amsterdam filght leave? Do you have to re-clear security?45 minutes is a very tight connection in mid winter.

    1. Delta uses all concourses A through G of Terminal 1 with corresponding gate numbers. The the upper level is surrounded on three sides by Concourses A through G - Concourses E & F are in the center with Concourse D, C, A & B to the right and Concourse G to the left: Concourse A has gates A1-14 (Concourse B can be reached by tunnel) Concourse B (opposite Concourse A) has on the upper level gates B1-16, and on the lower level a tunnel to of Concourses A/C. Concourse C has gates 1-27, the Delta Sky Club at C11, and a cross walk to Concourse G near gate C12. Concourse D to the right of the center, has gates D1-D6. Concourse E has gates E1-E16 (United's Red Carpet Club is near E8) Concourse F has gates F1-F16. Concourse G has gates 1-10 & 11-22 (with security checkpoint & international arrivals facility in the center), and a crosswalk to Concourse C near gate G18.

I am almost certain that you will not need to re-clear security. Your 45 minutes is still a very tight connection. I might seek a better connection if I were you, especially given winter weather.
