Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has one security checkpoint located on the main level of the terminal building. The checkpoint is open daily from 4:00 AM to 30 minutes prior to the last scheduled departure. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
MOT does not currently offer any fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to use a dedicated screening lane and keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Minot Airport does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers are available on a case-by-case basis for private aircraft arriving from outside the United States. These passengers must make prior arrangements with CBP and provide advance notice of their arrival.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Minot Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for passenger security and convenience. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy a faster, more efficient security screening process. Pre Check passengers can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and can leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To enroll in TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply online, attend an in-person appointment, and pay a fee. TSA Pre Check is available at select airports nationwide, including MOT Airport.
Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. Global Entry members can use automated kiosks to complete their customs declaration and biometric scanning, bypassing the traditional customs lines. the airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center, but there are several enrollment centers located nearby in North Dakota. These centers require an appointment and a fee to enroll in the Global Entry program.

Airport Lounge Locations
Unfortunately, MOT does not have any airline or airport lounges available for passengers. However, there are several amenities and services offered at the airport to make your travel experience comfortable and convenient.
Some of the amenities available at Minot Airport include free Wi-Fi, charging stations, a gift shop, and a restaurant. The airport also offers rental car services and a taxi stand for transportation to and from the airport.
Baggage Claim Areas
Minot Airport has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the main terminal. Baggage claim area 1 serves Delta and United Airlines, while baggage claim area 2 serves Allegiant and American Airlines. Baggage carts are available for use in both areas.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for use in both baggage claim areas at MOT Airport. They can also be found in the parking lot and near the terminal entrance. The cost to rent a luggage cart is $5, and they can be paid for using cash or credit card.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
The airport does not currently offer luggage storage or left luggage services. However, there are several nearby hotels that offer luggage storage for a fee. Contact your hotel directly to inquire about their luggage storage options.
