The Airport is located between the towns of Makinohara and Shimada, and is a 40-minute drive from Shizuoka City and a 50-minute drive from Hamamatsu City. It can be accessed via the Tomei Expressway, and is 27 km southwest of Shizuoka Station, 45 km from Hamamatsu and 80 km from Mt. Fuji. .

Level 1 is divided between Arrivals and check-in areas -
with an Arrivals area housing the baggage claim, the Y'shop and the lobby housing Information counter, currency exchange & ATM machine, and rental car counters. At the opposite end are the check-in counters for domestic & international flights, and a smoking room,
Level 2 is the Departures level
with a Departures lobby offering the Tabi Cha fe, two Information Exchange booths (Sky Forest & Mt. Fuji Corridor) - leading to security checkpoint, Immigration, duty-free, and access to domestic & International boarding areas and departure gates. Level 2 also houses multi-purpose conference rooms, shops, a nurseries.

Getting from the Airport to our destination:
Taxis are available in front of Arrivals. The closest railway station - Kanaya Station on the Tokaido Main Line and the Oigawa Main Line - is 6 km from the Airport & can be reached by taxi. Three bus operators offer connections from the Airport to various railroad stations.
