The main information desk is located in the Main Concourse on Level 03 and is open 24/7. In addition, there are information desks in the arrival and departure areas on Level 04, which are staffed as needed.

Travel Agencies and Tour Operators are located in Terminal 2, Level 3 and in the Central Area (Z)
Left luggage (sign: red baggage) - entrance to Service Center Terminal 1 - If you have to leave baggage items at Munich Airport for either security reasons or to store them while you are shopping or dining.
Forwarded packages/items - You can arrange for items or packages to be forwarded to the Airport for pick-up after your arrival.
Bus tickets for the Airport Bus routes of "Autobus Oberbayern" are available at the Service Center 24/7.
Shoe Shine: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, both at Departure, Level 4.
Showers - Central Area, Level 03 or in Terminal 2 in the public area.
Laundry services are available.
The Airport has a coat room ("Cloak Room") where you can leave your heavy garments while you explore the airport facilities.
HEALTH and BEAUTY
Massage chairs - terminal 1 and terminal 2 behind security check.
Beauty Free in the central area offers a wide variety of perfume and cosmetics of leading brands.
Bel Hair - barber at Terminal 2, level 03
Brants Barber & Shop at Terminal 2, Level 04 - an exclusive barber who indulges with with American Crew products.
Cosmetic Institute - Terminal 2, level 05.
Doctors - Munich Airport has a wide range of specialized medical practices, with state-of-the-art treatments and equipment. (see details under "Emergency")

Baby changing facilities are marked with a baby logo. Other baby changing facilities are in the toilets for wheelchair users.
International Travelers at Munich MUC Airport
If you are a citizen of a country abiding by the Schengen Agreement, you are considered a "domestic" citizen. All other passengers, whether European or citizens of other continents/countries are considered "foreign citizens" and have to go through a more stringent process.
CUSTOMS:
Duty-free goods and goods to be declared:
If you are arriving from an EU member state or are not carrying more than the permitted duty-free allowances, please use the green exit when passing through customs.
If you have more than the permitted duty-free allowances with you, please use the red exit when passing through customs and declare the goods.
Goods intended for commercial or trading purposes must be declared regardless of their value. This also applies to goods subject to restrictions (e.g. narcotics, weapons, ammunition and protected plant and animal species, parts thereof or goods produced using such species).
Goods are duty free if you are carrying them in your personal baggage and they are intended exclusively for your own use or consumption, for your household or as gifts.
Product piracy
Products paid for at rock bottom-prices at holiday destinations turn mostly out to be bogus bargains. You can only bring back a small quantity of such goods for your personal use. In all other cases the goods will be seized. For more information, please contact the customs and excise authorities.
Cash restrictions
Crossing or entering the external borders of the European Union (EU):
When traveling to countries outside the EU and when entering the EU from such countries, travelers must submit a written declaration at Customs of all liquid funds carried (e.g. cash, shares, checks, interest-bearing securities) in excess of a total value of 10,000 euros. A form is available at every customs office or at www.zoll.de.

The Post Office ("Deutsche Post" or "DP") is located at Terminalstrasse within the Airport; Tel: +49 180 2 33 33; Fax +49 89 970-5 89 22. Open daily 7:30am-9pm.
Pets / Animals at Munich MUC Airport
Pets are not allowed at Munich Airport, except if they are working dogs or in a safe kennel. Airlines have different rules regarding pets. Check with your airline first. Also, if you intend to take your pet into another country which is within the Schengen Agreement, make sure you comply with the Schengen ordinances. If you intend to take your pet outside the Schengen area, you must contact the destination country's embassy as to required documentation and shots. You might also want to contact your vet.
