Murcia San Javier Airport MJV serves Spain's Autonomous Community of Murcia and its surroundings.
The Airport is located in the district of Santiago de la Ribera, San Javier municipality, and is 17 miles south of Murcia, on the north shoreline of the Mar Menor. It is situated on the Costa Calida, and is within easy traveling distance to the southern tip of the Costa Blanca with its resort towns like Torrevieja. Murcia Airport is accessible by both AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterraneo), or the Mar Menor Road.  

With two runways abd an estimated 1.35 million passengers a year, the Airport is served by domestic & international, regular, as well as low-fare airlines, offering direct and connecting flights to Europe and beyond.

To get from Murcia San Javier Airport to your destination you can rent a car, take a taxi (tel: 968 573 300) – the fare to Villa Martin is about 30 EUR, to Murcia or La Manga 50 EUR). Or you can take the Airport Bus to Santiago de la Ribera. From there you can connect to other bus lines serving Campoamor, Cartagena, Murcia & Alicante. The Airport bus departs the Airport at 1:25, 4:30 and 7pm.
