APC Airport Overview
Napa Valley Airport APC is located in Napa, California, off Hwy 29 (cross Hwy 29 at stoplight into Airport Industrial Park, cross RR tracks and proceed to the airport terminal) and can be reached via I-101, I-5, I-80. It is a General Aviation airport with charter flights available, but no scheduled commercial flights. The airport can accommodate most private aircraft including jets, up to 120,000 pounds, dual tandem wheels, and/or a G-5. Napa tower is in operation 0700 2000 local time (7am-8pm, Pacific Time). Airport Operations staff is on the field 8am-5pm, seven days a week. Jonesys Steakhouse is located within the passenger terminal.
The Napa Valley training facility is equipped with the latest computerized training aids, including fixed and full motion flight simulators, and a sophisticated flight operations department which maintains an airline-type dispatch control over flight procedures and provides satellite-based weather coverage. The facility, which is owned by JAL and managed by IASCO, can accommodate about 200 students. For information call 707-252-3522.
