OverviewPublic transportation from New Chitose Airport:
(a) By Taxis/Limos: Taxis are located at the taxi stands in front of either the ANA / international arrivals exit, or the exit between the JAL A and B arrival lobby gates. Tour guide taxis and limousines can be arranged at Information counters in the arrival lobby at 1F.
(b) By Train: The quickest way to get to Saporro is by taking the JR rapid trains at the new 'JR New Chitose Airport Train Station, located on B1F of the terminal. , running every 15 mins and taking 35 mins. Trains are covered by both Japan & Hokkaido rail passes. Railway tickets for the Keikyu Line & Tokyo Monorail can be obtained by vending machines on 2F, near Gate 8 (ANA) & gates 11 & 16 (JAL).
(c) By Bus: Airport buses run every 15 mins & take between 70 & 90 mins, making several stops at downtown Sapporo (including Susukino, Odori Park & Sapporo Station).
Bus Connections to areas other than Saporro:
The Hokkaido Chuo Bus to Saporro stops at Bus Stop 13 in front of JAL Arrival Lobby A (tel. 0123 46-5666);
the Hokuto Kotsu Bus and the Hokkaido Chuo Bus take you to Saporro - the stops at Bus Stop in front of ANA Arrival Lobby A (tel. 0123 23-2095), and takes 70 mins;
the Joetsu Bus & Hokuto Kosu Bus take you to Jozankei.
The Hokkaido Chuo Bus & Niseko Bus take you to Tsusu & Nseko to Lake Shikotsu.
