  • airport to Newark Penn

What is the quickest way to get from Newark airport to Newark Penn station?

At EWR, the Air Train connects at the Newark Penn Station (a 15 minutes trip) to the NJ Transit train headed for NY Penn station; taking 30 mins. The AirTrain entry/exit fee of $5.50 is included on New Jersey Transit tickets to/from the Airport. The AirTrain stations at each of the 3 terminals have ticket AirTrain ticket counters at their arrivals level.

  • is there a shuttle at Newark from terminal B to C?

    does anyone know?

United operates a shuttle from the B3 satellite to C. If you will be coming into another satellite of B or on an international flight into B, take the AirTrain instead.

  • Is 100 min sufficient to catch a flight in TerminalC from Amtrak stn?
    Oct 30, 2013
For the first time I am going to Newark EWR airport by Amtrak train from Philadelphia (ZVF) rail station. I will reach at 6 PM to EWR Amtrak station by train (if it doesn't do any late). I have 100 mins. time to catch an United Airlines flight at Terminal C for an international destination. As I am flying to international destination, I will have to go through immigration and passport control. Is this time sufficient to catch the flight from Amtrak station? How can I go to Terminal C from Amtrak station? How long does it take? Please help me.

It should be enough time but there's no guarantee. The Amtrak station is connected to the airport by the EWR AirTrain.

Hi ZAP, Thank you very much for your response. How much time (including passport control) do you think is sufficient to catch the flight from Amtrak station? How long (maximum time) does it take to go to Terminal C from Amtrak station?

Actually, on your departure you won't have to go through any immigration or passport control. You will just have to check your bags and go through security. It shouldn't take you more than 45 minutes to get from the Amtrak station to your gate. You only have to go through immigration on arrival into the US.

Hi! I'm arriving to EWR in a Delta flight by 5:42 pm of a Sunday. I'm taking an Amtrak on the Newark Airport station. How much time it is advisable to consider for bag pickup on terminal B, airtrain transportation from terminal B to Newark Liberty Airport Station and additional time wasting activities to consider? Thanks for your response!

It will probably take you 45 minutes to an hour from when your plane is schedule to arrive to when you can reasonably expect to be sitting on an Amtrak train.

  • Newark Airport Ground Transportation

Well I scheduled a pick up through a site called GroundLink to take my family from EWR to Brooklyn and although I said meet us outside United- I now realize that could mean either of 2 terminals - I read that Terminal B though for international- has a passenger pick- up on Level 1, and level 2 &3 for ticketing and check-in. Terminal C has on it's level one arrivals and Ground Transport- just not sure where I should send the driver - especially not knowing what terminal I'll even arrive at.

Note that all international arrivals, EXCEPT those on United flights, are in Terminal B. Terminal C is the exclusive terminal for United; however it also uses some of its domestic flights at Terminal A. All levels in all three terminals are the same and GroundLink should know where to stand for pickup (with a sign).

  • Groundlink pick up - where do I go?
    Sep 29, 2012
I'll be coming on United from Chicago what terminal will I end up on A or C? and where would I meet an appointed pick from Groundlink? B-1 or C-1?

While Terminal C is the exclusive United Airlines terminal, United & United Express also use Terminal A for some flights. (Terminal B is for international arrivals, other than United). Don't understand your second Q.
