  • MAIL! Where to purchase stamps / drop stamped letters in a mailbox?

The information office isn't open yet, but perhaps someone here knows where I can find a USPS mailbox to drop some cards? I'm on an unanticipated long night in EWR, and catching up on my physical post correspondence. This is bad planning, but it's also my last chance to post these letters with USPS before I leave the country :-/

Boards Head employees are very rude to customers and only friendly with each other and a little too friendly I may add I saw hanky panky going on and luckily I happened to get the employees name Lotaya or something (figures)

  • Baggage re-check and what to do on layover

I land at Newark from Hong Kong at 1pm on a Sat. Traveling with my adult daughter. I finsih my trip at newark, but she continues on to Houston. I know we will collect bags and clear customs together, but will I be able to hang out inside the terminal with her until her next flight or will we both have to exit terminal and then she will go through security to get to new gate? if we are outside the security/gate area, is there a place we can hang out and eat, relax until it's time for her to leave?

There's not much outside security at EWR that you could both access.

  • Can I go to terminal B to use the lounge ?

I am flying from Chicago to Newark and then to Madrid. I have a 6.5 layover there in Newark. I'm flying with United and I'm not sure if is from terminal c or b. I want to use the art lounge on terminal b.. is that posible? Thanks in advance

I am looking for similar information. However from my previous experience at ewr you will have to undergo security when changing from c to b then to a for your connection. I am assuming you are star gold so need the lufthansa lounge in b instead of the United lounge in c. There is also an air Canada lounge in a.

Monica Aponte went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me while I was in the process of purchasing food at the food court. She was extremely helpful with me. A woman of high integrity,I applaud her character, loyalty and focused service with her customers.

I read that EWR is opening a military room. I would like to know if it is open or when it is scheduled to be open. Will it be for current and former members of the military?

  • Where to keep my luggage for a 13H connection

I will be flying to Costa Rica through Newark with United. In between flights I have 13H connection and I would like to go out to Manhattan for a couple of hours. Is there a place I can keep my bags in Newark and then check it back again ? ‬‏

There is no baggage storage at the airport. There is a baggage storage place near Penn Station in Manhattan where you can store your bags.

  • Land Terminal B, can visit Terminal C?
    Mar 12, 2016

I'm taking a United flight from London, final stop EWR. I land in Terminal B but want to visit one of the duty free shops in Terminal C. Is this allowed? Would I have to wait before going through customs or can I go straight when I get off the plane when it lands?

No, that is not allowed. There is no duty free shopping in the US after you arrive in the US. You go directly do US Immigration and Customs.
