I know where and what terminal C is.
What is C1?
On August 23 we are to arrive at Newark from Zurich at 1:05 PM. Our connecting flight to BWI is at 2:30 PM

Doesn't seem like enough time since we have to get our luggage, go through customs, re check the luggage and then go from terminal B to C
I'm landing at Newark (from Los Angeles) at 06.07 pm , and have connection flight to Venice at 06.55 pm,
both terminal C. Is that enough time?
When I booked the flights, the connection was longer but due to a change from United Airlines now it's like this..
is that enough? we don't need to go through security if we are leaving the U.S.A. , is that correct?
thank you for helping!
I'm flying with United from Orlando to London Heathrow via Newark terminal C, my flight is due to land in Newark at 17.38 and my flight to Heathrow leaves at 18.35, is this enough time?
My in-laws are arriving at Terminal B from LHR on Tuesday and will board a flight to Ottawa, Canada from Terminal A. They have about 90 mins to transit between terminal, is that enough? What is the best way to reach Terminal A from Terminal B (I guess one cannot board monorail after crossing security checkpoint at Terminal B arrival). Many thanks for your help, in an advance.
They will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim their bags, go through US Customs, re-check their bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to Terminal A and go through security. They have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Thank you so much for the reply. So that means, they have to checkin their baggage in Terminal B and then take AirTrain to Terminal A?
There is a desk where they can drop their bags off in Terminal B right after they clear customs.
Thank you so much for your prompt reply. This information is really helpful.
Hi,

I am arriving by Lufthansa LH7603 operated by United Airlines at 1400 hours to Terminal B.
Newark is my port of entry and I will have to take the connection after Immigration and Customs to CMH Columbus Ohio by LH 7713 Operated by United Airlines from Terminal C at 1900 hrs.

1. After Immigration do I claim my checked in baggage and re check at the re check desk after inspection ?

2. Is there a connection after Re check of my checked in baggage to terminal C.
Is there a shuttle service from Terminal B to Terminal C or I have use the Air Train ?
Do I have to go through Security to access the shuttle if there is one.

3. If there is no shuttle from Terminal B to Terminal C how do I access the Air Train from terminal B to C and do I have to go through Security check twice ?

Thanks for your help.
After immigration, you will claim your baggage then recheck it. From there, you have the option to take the AirTrain to terminal C before going through security, or you can go through security at Terminal B and take the shuttle to Terminal C. Either way suffices for your situation.
I and my wife travelling from London uk to Newark Liberty international terminal b gate 64 on 15/8/17 at 3.25 pm we have connecting flight for Detroit flight number us 3420 from terminal c at 4.50 pm same day first I go to immigration then baggage and custom then how quickly I change terminal walking or air train free drop bags take air train reach terminal c and take security before reaching gate is it enough time worried we miss flight we are elderly any help. Dr gkp
You won't know your exact gates until the day of your flight. You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the airtrain to your departure terminal, and go through security. Honestly, 1 hr 25 minutes is probably not enough time to do that.
Hi!
I will arrive on Sunday at terminal B from Stockholm. We have a connecting flight to Cancun 2 hours later (I suppose in terminal C).

On our way back, we have (Cancun - Newark,1h35min, Newark - Brussels).

Do you believe that we have enough time?
I've read that we need to check in our luggage at Newark, is this true? (I thought nowadays that you automatically just get your luggage sent to your final destination)
Do you have any tips on how we can get to our connecting flights quickly?
All flights are with United Airlines.
Thanks in advance.
I forgot to mention that our final destination on our way back is Stockholm again. So we're flying from Cancun-Newark-Brussels-Stockholm. Flight from Cancun departures at 12.00 and is expected to arrive at Neward at 16.55 Wednesday 26th of July.
Yes, both ways you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to your departure terminal (if different from your arrival terminal), then go through security and to your departure gate. 2 hours is the recommended minimum.
Our son will be flying from Orlando (United) to Copenhagen (SAS) via Newark. I believe that he has to change terminals. Where can I check which terminal he will arrive to/depart from in Newark and how does he best get from the arriving terminal to the departing terminal? Is there an app?
He will both arrive and depart from Terminal C. You can use the United app or Flightview.com to view flight status and gate announcements.
Andy is incorrect. He arrives in Terminal C and depart from Terminal B. United runs a shuttle inside security from near gate C71 to the SAS gates in Terminal B.
Is the AirTrain the same thing as the shuttle that takes you between terminals? I'm confused. What do I take to transfer from one terminal to another?
The AirTrain is a train that runs outside security between every terminal. The Shuttle is a bus that United operates that goes from Terminal C to their gates in Terminals A and B and the Star Alliance partner gates in Terminal B (Lufthansa, SAS, Swiss, Austrian). The Shuttle runs inside security.
So if my kids are coming into EWR with United and flying out with Air Canada they need to take the Air Train? Is there a cost?
Yes. The AirTrain is free between terminals.
